  1. Not me. I'm on Solstice and we didn't get near that island. Edge left Sydney on April 14 and turn around in Honolulu on May 1. That sail by was scheduled when they cancelled Lahina. We left Honolulu on April 25 and are due in Vancouver on May 6.
  2. Photographers may be back--- Noticed that on Chic night they had roaming photographers back on Solstice. They even were back roaming around Luminae offering to take pictures. Wonder if this is being seen on other ships?
  3. I took the easy way out and just had them delivered to my front door using Amazon. I have a tendency to use them for everything these days.
  4. That's what I understand. When in Australia I has some that are the norm n Australia, but they just didn't seem to work for me. The Pedialyte AdvanceCare Plus seemed to work well for me
  5. After the large Zenith Lunch, we decided to take a break and had a Pizza and TV night in our cabin. Just let out Butler know and he went upstairs to OVC and had them make a Pizza to our specifications. It was nice to just kick back and relas.
  6. Thanks... will take a look. Iain follows Gary -- loves his reviews.
  7. You are being treated like Royalty. We have had none of the Bon Bon's .... we get tiny Cadberry square even on Chic nights.
  8. Yum... Do love those. My preference has been filled on Solstice. Al Bacio has the ones without the Meringue and the little chocolate ball. Solstice does not have a hot/cold table since was not revolutionized so they bring what you order. Only problem for many is there is no menu. It is kinda if you know you can ask for it.
  9. On Solstice they have gone half way -- Daniel B #2 Menu first 7 days and Daniel B #1 with Raspberry Pistachio Vecherin on the next 7. Since she will be starting the Alaska season after our cruise it will all be the menu with the Chocolate Pile -- oops I mean Pill.
  10. Agree--- John's got a good eye for photography. His pictures are bringing back such fond memories.
  11. That I would agree. We flew United to Sydney and I had the same entree as you. I was happy I had a burger at the Polaris Lounge in advance.... it was rather unremarkable. Last time we flew Singapore and had Lobster ....
  12. I have some catching up to do. I'm starting on the first page so should be able to catch up shortly. Have a wonderful cruise.
  13. I’m on Solstice. Checked last 7 days and have not seen a Bag offer in daily.
  14. Yes... Andy who was with us on a walking hike had some of that in her pocketbook. I will look into it. I have some Pedialyte. My doctor was recommending it over Liquid IV because of a drug I'm using raises Potasium and it is lower than Gatoraid and IV. I guess it is also lower in sodium and sugar.
  15. Curious if this is confined to specific classification of cabins or floors?
  16. I found the same. Never get a call unless I save one. Taught me not to save or put a favorite on a cruise I'm looking at.
  17. I have also used TMobile for many years and used the free international roaming many time. To the OP -- I would give T-Mobile a call to see if your essential plan covers the free international roaming ...if not what would be the cost of upgrading. Their Customer Service is really great and are never pushy... I know some plans cover the roaming and others don't.
  18. I agree with the $100 pp fee. The OP states the cruise is AFTER FINAL PAYMENT date --- their cruise is in about 3 weeks.. I may be wrong but I believe the change fee and ability to change is only valid prior to Final Payment Date. After that date cancellation fees per a schedule will apply. It varies by length of cruise and country of booking. The OP should have the details on their booking or Cruise Documents. Thus the recommendation of travel insurance.
  19. Asked the other night for someone and these are the Red's she had on hand. Other's available upon request.
  20. As other's have said you might wish to check out the current sailing of your ship to get a better idea of the menu selection. Many of the items you listed are indeed on the menu but.... If I recall all sailing with more than xx number of days now have a lobster night. Currently on Solstice - While I'm in a suite I just looked and on our cruise there are 3 Chic nights and the 3rd - Day 10 they have Lobster
  21. Hotel Director Mario on Solstice went all out for a festive Zenith Lunch this afternoon. This is what makes us feel special.
  22. Just High is she.... LOL. I hope you have wonderful weather for the Japan cruise. That had to be one of our favorites.
  23. We met Catherine and Linda in Michael’s Club on Day 1. Catherine is a CC member but forget her screen name. Don’t they look great for Chic night yesterday.
  24. LOL... Since I have no personal experience in this I trust you.. I'm hoping it was a joke. I have to say.... there isn't much eye candy on this cruise. Male or Female.
  25. I wall warn you. Hawaii is magical and once you go you will have to come back. The best part is unlike the Caribbean it doesn't really get HOT and HUMID. The temps don't change much year round and the trade winds are always blowing back and forth keeping you comfortable.
