If it’s still the concierge lounge and there’s not to many pinnacles onboard I believe the concierge will allow it. Suite lounge we are locked out but I believe Ovation is still a concierge.

Thank the C&A god for those 5 free drinks. Maybe they should turn the diamond lounge into a place of worship. 5 rocket fuels for free ,a bucket of beer and the coffee machine in the diamond lounge in the morning. Thats enough for me , That’s unless I know someone in a suite???

I think they will be scaring a lot of people off with their prices. Something like $15 au fo a Budweiser and $30au for a martini.

My few cruises over the season has the booze package at $100 a day. Thats pretty good value as drink prices have gone up in the last couple of days so I’m told. All mixed drinks will be over $15 U.S. plus 18% gratuity I believe . So with the bad exchange rate thats 5 drinks and you will be in front.

Probably because you got in early, I have heard $1,000. We stayed there a few times over the pandemic for $A150 . Its a nice hotel and has the best location.

I know subject of the thread is about the crew not being tipped in Australian waters , I do feel for them if they aren’t getting a fair pay under our system. But that’s not our doing. I would just like to explain our point of view.We aren’t cheap miserable people. We have a different system where you’re employer must pay a good wage . I don’t know, the crew all seem happy and enjoy their job. We have a totally different wage system ,I know the American system works well but so does ours. Personally , I find it embarrassing and degrading that a server or attend has over act ,hoping to get a tip.

You will get a paper slip and you can leave a extra tip but they already get 18%. I round it of to the dollar and sign it . Do this because it has been known for the crew to add their own tip . Us Ozzie’s don’t tip and I have heard some bad stories. but it’s part of their wage. So if you find someone that you are very happy with you can get a envelope from guests service and put their name on it at the end of the cruise.

I usually don’t get a bill on RC ,most of the time I have a OBC so I usually get off with a couple of hundred dollars bills. Those were the days of a good exchange rate and good baggage allowance. And the quality of everything in America was so good. Leave Australia with a couple of changes of clothes an 2 big empty bags. Its much different now , a half decent hotel will cost us $500 a night. Food is expensive and all they sell is the same Chinese junk that we can get here. Not to mention the poverty.If you look on trip advisor ,a common question is ,is it safe in this area? Last time I stayed in Venice beach there was a 10:00 p.m curfew.

I would get a taxi from the airport,you will be in peak time and I think a taxi would be better. Grab some cash at the airport. Mr Google maps says the OPT ,convenience stores,Pharmacies within 5 minutes walk from Four season.

Yes $U.S. onboard, plus 18% gratuity. But it doesn’t seem to have affected the precruise prices on cruise planner a great deal .Which is in Australian So I would suggest anyone on a Royal ship this season to buy before your cruise.

Genting being Asian apparently where a combination of gambling a family. Get the the kids busy and away from mum and dad . Then get mum and dad into the casino then get their money. There was a strong Rumour that Disney wanted to get into the mega ships but the rumour was also they wanted Royal Caribbean. They could probably merge quite easily.

I think that ship had a massive casino in it. Maybe Mickey could be the croupier.
