I think Giovannis on Odyssey is much better than the other Giovannis which I like too and that shows how much we enjoy the Kitchen and wine bar place😉 it’s convenient to just be able to sit at the bar area and have a pizza or other goodies.

Wonder Of The Seas MDR

Thanks! I like salad every night but I Can’t eat Caesar salad because of the dressing. I was hoping I could ask for it without it on the nights where that’s the only salad offered. -

I know we’re supposedly not allowed to make any changes, but I notice that all the entrees always are covered in something, either gravy or some kind of sauce. I would like them without sauce. To me it’s always too salty. has anyone tried to ask to serve entrees without the “gravy”? -
Ok that makes sense. We did a 14 night Arctic cruise on Voyager in September from Copenhagen to Boston and it was expensive too. But we didn’t pay nearly what this is costing you. And we originally had Brilliance booked on that cruise in 2020 which of course was cancelled and that was half what we paid. Cruises have gone through the roof! Hope you get an unobstructed room. It’s a beautiful cruise especially Prins Christian Sund. It’s an all day thing and although we were on the upper deck for some time, we also sat on our balcony on the way back down and it was amazing. Breathtaking views from our cabin!

By waiting you skipped all the hoopla rules. It’s the same as pre C, but some wear masks. -

I was also a contractor for the US government in a scientific research facility. But in another state than I currently live. They were very lenient, and I mean VERY. Unless you were a union worker driving or using heavy machinery where they did random urine tests, they treated white collar addicts whether it was alcohol or drugs with so much leniency that one high level manager who I knew and worked with, that was drunk when he came to work every day and always had alcohol on his breath, with such kid gloves and let him stay on the job until he almost ran into the security police at the gate one morning driving to work. it wasn’t easy to fire any government worker where we worked. I know, I was in the process of trying to fire one of my employees and it was so hard and required so much work and time for me I almost gave up. But I retired mid process and she finally quit. -
We love that class of ship, but would hesitate to book guarantee. For example, along with what was said previously here that there are balcony cabins with obstruction - we book balconies to see the ocean - we wouldn’t book on deck 7 if it’s over any bar that had music until late. We did that once and it was very noisy for us in the cabin. it all depends on what’s important to you.

This has happened to us more than once. I always tell my card when we travel, and we were in Hawaii and overnight while we were sleeping, someone in Georgia tried to use our card for gas so they shutdown the card. Everything from the hotel to rental car was on that card. As soon as they gave us a new card number, every transaction that was coming through on the old cancelled card they asked if it was legit. Of course we had to scramble to let the hotel know, but we forgot the rental car was on the card. So the credit card just sent me an email and text asking if they could just transfer the charges to the new card. try calling the credit card company and ask them what’s best to do if you can’t get through to Royal.

Thanks, it’s not on either dining menu and when I pulled up other 10 night cruises, the rotations vary. I guess I’ll just wait until I get on the ship. Enjoy! -

They’re legal to buy and use if you have a medical card -
I got it from the NYE cruise on Jewel. Woke up in the middle of the night we got home. No one else in our group of 8 got it. Felt icky for a couple of days, that was all. So others on that cruise had it and either didn’t know it, or knew it and didn’t say anything. It would be possible, because I wasn’t sick enough after a couple of days to think I had it. If I wasn’t here with a test, I never would have tested. I probably would have just worn my N95 mask.

You’re on Serenade? Can you let me know the rotation of menus, we’re going on the 10 day to Panama soon and the app still just shows kids menus. I wanted to figure out when to skip Caribbean night with a specialty place….or even WJ. -
Smoking on the baclony

Once the couple in the next cabin were both smoking and hanging over the balcony. I told them that smoking wasn’t allowed on balconies. They said they didn’t care and continued to smoke. So I took a picture of them both smoking and calmly walked to GS. They didn’t smoke there again. Another time the couple in the next cabin was smoking on the balcony, but nice enough to have an ashtray on the table. I didn’t even need to talk to them, just took a picture of the ashtray, went to GS, and within a few minutes they had a knock on the door. They denied it was their ashtray…. They told security it was there when they boarded. They didn’t smoke there after that. I don’t want a fire on a ship because someone decided they didn’t need to follow the rules. if people break that rule they should be escorted off the ship. That would probably stop people from doing it. -
The $36 laundry bag. Is it worth it?

I agree with everything you wrote. Especially everything comes back gray and boil and fry 🤣 -

I don’t really eat lobster so I plan on giving mine to my husband, so after reading these posts I’ll ask for two entrees, but I’ll need to “eat” the lobster first? I plan on giving it to him right away. Then he’ll have dinner and I’ll be waiting for my poor server to run in the back to get my second entree. I foresee Royal making some changes again when we all complain. Like I said before, Disney went too far and look what happened, Chapek lost his job and things are starting to turn around. Royal should be watching and listening. There will be a breaking point and they’re getting close. I love cruising but there’s other vacations I love too. -
