Thank you 'wishiwas', that's well explained and has cleared up a couple of queries. Hubby and I were discussing the 'on your own' tours and weren't too sure as to what was involved.👍

I've only done the one Regent cruise (aah, poor me🥺), in February; Covid was still quite an issue so you could only go ashore on a booked excursion. Excuse the stupid question but now regulations are mostly relaxed am I right to assume that shuttles would normally be in place and are they back on? Our next cruise takes in many Mediterranean ports where a lot of the tours don't interest us and hubby and I want to do our own thing.

Can't disagree with you there but if that's the case then they should treat everybody the same no matter which side of the pond are their customers.

As I've previously posted on here before, back in January I rang Regent requesting luggage tags. I was told that as staff were still working from home they weren't available to be posted out and I'd have to wait until arrival at the terminal to obtain them (I ended up making my own.) A few weeks ago in Regent's newsletter Graham Sadler's intro extolled the benefits of how wonderful it was to be back in the office (Southampton HQ) with a full complement of staff with everything back to normal. So you'd think that now, something as basic as luggage tags could be provided by a so called luxury cruise company.🙄

Has anyone been on the above voyage? (We unfortunately had to cancel this cruise - so very disappointed.) Just interested to know how it all went - airport experience, port of calls and of course anything about being on Azura itself, etc. TIA.

Got the same email as yourself - I looked up our original booking which was four ports of call being Dubrovnik, Zadar, Trieste & Split. Wasn't aware that Trieste had been dropped for Rovinj which has now being replaced with Korcula. What's going on with this lot?? Operational reasons? B.S.!!!! And, like you said, why haven't they updated their website? Bunch of amateurs and I haven't even set foot on the ship yet. 🤬

Hi all, has anyone recently boarded in Malta? We've less than 3 weeks to go and was wondering about the checking in processes and general wait times. Also, any further Covid testing practices?

I chose not to mention this to my husband (we go in about 3 weeks) as I'd know he wouldn't be very happy 🤐😂
