So my favourite breakfast item is the breakfast burrito at the Blue iguana Cantina Favourite breakfast in the MDR is the smoked salmon, cream cheese and bagel. Favourite lunch will hopefully change to a Big Chicken sandwich when I cruise on the MG next week but currently is something from the deli, used to be the Reuben but it has changed and is now flattened and weird. The turkey, avocado sandwich is very good. My favourite app at dinner is the candied salmon on the first night, it’s actually Gravlax and has a yummy sauce. Favourite dinner in the MDR is lasagna even though it’s quite heavy and filling. Favourite dessert is the soufflé or crème brûlée. i didn’t even mention the specialty restaurants, I love some of those but just stuck to the basics. All pretty carb heavy but hey, it’s a vacation. 😁

I was wondering the same thing. At least it says Platinum , at least on mine it does so I’m assuming they have a priority line and will see that it says our level. my luggage tags say Platinum so maybe that’s all they need. Also, will we be allowed in the VIP lounge at Terminal 3 PC? During covid they only let Suite guests in but it seats 500 people so I hope they let Suites, Diamond and Platinum in there. Since they will call those first to board you would think they would keep us together.

We live on the coast in Morehead City! I love the mountains. We have had three Aussies and our current one is 8 and her name is Nani( Hawaiian for pretty). She is the most chill Aussie we have had, is smarter than most people around and she’s just a joy to have around. Maybe we will see you on the ship. If you see a taller couple on the first elegant night me in a long gold sequin dress and husband in a tux with his medals, come say hi. My husband was in the Marine Corps for 29 years and like to wear his medals with his tux. 😃

Hey I will be on the same sailing as you, have a black tri Aussie and live in NC! It looks like they replaced the Uncle Jerome with the Shaq Daddy. I guess we will find out soon.

We are cruising out of Port Canaveral Terminal 3 in just over a week and I wonder if they will use the 500 seat VIP lounge for D and P guests and not just suites now? I would think that they would but someone who knows an employee said it’s only for Suite guests. Maybe they aren’t up to date. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t use it as it’s so big and will reduce crowding in main lounge.

No you logged on and picked an arrival time which then assigned you a boarding group. They let D/P login two days before everyone else. The boarding groups are called out in order.

I have a quick question and I actually searched but couldn’t find anything. I know that on the Carnival site it states that the Flamingo is for YTD but recently heard that they switched it to the Palm because of the number of people doing YTD. Can anyone confirm this please?

Usually the first check in time is 1000 so obviously people have checked in before you and therefore have the A1 A2 etc. It’s all about what time you get for a check in. Supposedly they are looking at bringing priority boarding back and I assume they will as I would think that they want to bring back FTTF. They can’t really sell FTTF without bringing back Priority boarding.

It’s a percentage off but not always the same. I have never seen an onboard credit for military. If you go and do a mock booking on a cruise you like you will see the military rate if there is one for that cruise.

They do but not on every cruise. Also you have to provide a copy of your DD 214.

Well, most of the comments were from people that said they needed to call 911. Some were just complaints about fights etc, some were falls, some were serious medical emergencies. Obviously 911 works for most people. I have no idea why some say it didn’t work.

You are wondering when the ship docks or when you are supposed to arrive? Your arrival time is the one you pick when you do your check in. That time is not the boarding time but the time you are supposed to arrive and enter the boarding area. People get this confused all the time.

This is wrong, 911 works from the cabin. John Heald just confirmed this on his FB page.

So we are heading on the Mardi Gras in Nov and wanted some clarification on the restaurants. We changed our seating at dinner to My Time dining so we could easily get a table at an earlier time if we wanted to at a few places. On the app which restaurants are included to get in line for a table? Is it just the main dining room, Cucina Del Capitano and Chibang? I know that reservations are needed for Rudi’s, Fahrenheit 555, Bonsai Teppenyaki and Chefs Table. What about Emeril’s Bistro 1396 and Guys Pig and Anchor? Are those on the app to get a table or are they just walk in? Any info is appreciated.
