Thanks I am sure there are taxi's from the port. Just getting back had me wondering. Few years back we did the Sanoa Island boat trip with Seavis and always wanted to go back to spend the day in that area. Let me know what you find out.

To the Lady Cruisers. Our 30th Anniversary is May 15th this year I booked a 10 day Alaska Cruise which departs on May 15th from San Fran the first day it became available on the Carnival Miracle I have everything booked, Flights , Aft Suite , Shore Excursions , 3 Days in Frisco prior. everything Bucket Trip of a lifetime, went all out. My wife has zero Idea, zero. For Christmas she did get some, clothes, hat etc for some cooler/colder weather, told her that was for a Mountain trip we are doing in February which we are not. I thought of an early Anniversary card, Waiting Until Valentines day?? Only people who know are our 2 children26 & 25 & me, didn't want it to get back to her.. Please give me ideas and the best one you will get the credit for! Thank You !

Have to tell my wife about this Cruise in May sooner or later. It's for our 30th Anniversary which actually is the day we depart San Fran 5/15, Probably going to hold off until Valetine's day and spring it on her than somehow. Kids (26 & 25) are in on it, we did get her some nice layers of clothing, hat etc... for Christmas telling her we are going ti the mountains for Skiing and tubing in Feb. I think I have the time up on deck covered. I did get us a suite Aft, so she can wrap up her in blankets out there . For the ladies on here, what is your everyday wear walking around the ship on sea days? We are used to Caribbean cruise shorts flips etc... I'd like my daughter to get my wife some casual outfits to put in the suitcase and am looking for some advice on what to tell her to get. On the Miracle, is the enclosed pool area warm? Are the outdoor hot tubs open? Thank you In Advance.

Juneau we have the Heli/Air Boat Booked, 2 to 5pm we'll do a dinner after that. Maybe take the Tram up to the top, is there a restaurant up there? Ship leaves at 23:00 Skagway doing the train in the AM , nothing planned in the PM Ship leaves 21:00 Icy Strait Booked a 6 person with Hoonah Whale 8:00 to 11:00 AM Nothing planned in the PM. Ship Leaves 21:00 Any Suggestions for a floatplane in either Port for the PM ? Probably just us 2. Really wanted to this while here. Our 30th Wedding Anniversary, Wifey know nothing yet about this trip. I wanted to fly somewhere and do something special, have the pilot in on it prior. We're on the 10 day from SFO, in May I did it for the Extra Sea Days plus have not been to SFO, we'll do a couple days prior touring.
