  1. hat's the latest on the Odyssey CDs for this winter? Schedule still appears odd looking.
  2. As someone who generally doesn't care for the Windjammer, I like the specialty lunches. The past few Anthem cruises, they offered BOGO lunches for Diamond members and above. So I ate at Chops and Jamie's for lunch for $15 each essentially. And you can get the Filet Mignon during lunch as well.
  3. My October 2025 TA is cheaper than my January '25 cruise (11-day on Odyssey).
  4. Just feels like these ships will have the same itineraries sailing out of Galveston and Florida. Western cruises will be Cozumel, Costa Maya and Jamaica. Eastern cruises will remain Nassau, CocoCay and San Juan. 💤💤💤
  5. Curious what ship RCCL will bring up early for Bayonne? There's no way there won't be a ship sailing out of there, especially in March when it's peak Spring break time. So whatever two ships are planned that summer, one will just arrive a month earlier that usual.
  6. Elation & Paradise turn 30 in 2028 with a dry dock scheduled for 2029. Never know by then, but the Adventure & Encounter are only 3 & 4 years younger, respectively.
  7. just a thought, but since Carnival is getting the two P&O ships by 2025(Adventure & Encounter), they could just replace the Elation & Paradise down the road since they're both 108,000 ton and should fit for Tampa & Jacksonville.
  8. yeah, Magic & Wonder will likely be gone by 2031. So their fleet would be at 11 then. Adventure remains out of China/Singapore & Wish 2028 stays in Japan. Maybe Disney will homeport a ship out of Australia year-round by 2030? 2 ships out of Port Canaveral, 2 ships of out Fort Lauderdale, keep one ship out of California, another doing Alaska/Hawaii westcoast trips, one of Europe.
  9. If it's sailing out of China and Singapore, odds are there will be a casino. The Asian cruising market loves to gamble.
  10. Debby heading more Westward should limit the possible delays for the Sunshine arriving and leaving tomorrow.
  11. Wouldn't be at all surprised if the Sunshine doesn't disembark until Friday.
  12. The port of Tampa is now reopened. The Islander and Carnival's Paradise are expected to dock this morning.
  13. Carnival will try and hold on to the 5 Spirit class ships as long as possible. Otherwise, they won't be able to sail out of Mobile, Jacksonville, Tampa and Baltimore. By 2029, the Elation and Paradise will be gone.
  14. Their oldest ships will be 30 & 31 years old when this one debuts. Have to imagine they'll be gone shortly after and Disney will need to replace them.

  16. If the Islander is successful, I think they look to add a third ship and HomePort it out of Port Canaveral or Jacksonville and do longer cruises to the Bahamas, Key West and the Eastern Caribbean.
  17. When do they start doing 7 day cruises?

  20. So her first cruise is Friday, is she arriving in Tampa today or tomorrow and will just sit at the pier?
  21. Those Fantasy class ships that are now scrap would be over 30 years old if Carnival kept some of them or if they got purchased by MAS. The Paradise and Elation are now 26. Odds seem like a Costa ship might be available soon as that fleet keeps dwindling. Keep the Islander out of Tampa and a third ship can go out of Jacksonville for longer cruises (Key West & Grand Turk?) assuming it'll fit.
  22. @DELTABLUE ODYSSEY: Jamie Fentiman 3-10-24 #1278, Ana Ribeiro 5-5-24 #1414, Ricky Matthews 1-17-24/1-16-25 #1273 For my Jan. 5, 2025 Odyssey cruise, that means Ana will be the CD? And that's her last assignment?
