  1. I've seen a lot of people talking about buying on board credit. Some people are saying they do that instead of paying for a drink package. I don't get it. What is the benefit in doing this? I'm trying to come up with a scenario for which I'd want to give RC money that I don't owe them, before I've spent it, instead of just having them bill my credit card as I make purchases on board. Is there a discount offered for buying/using OBC?
  2. You can't buy your way into skipping lines at Disney anymore. There is a work-around though - I went as an invited guest of Disney, and we skipped every single line the whole week and it was glorious. Never waited in line more than 5 minutes. I don't know if I could enjoy the experience the regular way now, as that provided a totally different experience. We didn't have to make reservations for any of our line passes on any ride, and while the line passes weren't unlimited, we left having not used them all.
  3. My symphony November cruise is also $208/person. It fluctuates between $220 and $208. I'm waiting for it to go down to $189 but I don't think that'll happen. I figured this weekend would have a good Memorial Day sale, but it's the same price it's been all week.
  4. I don't see this notice on the package for my Thanksgiving sailing. I haven't purchased it yet, but plan to. Is this notice something I'll see after purchasing? Or is it possible that for some reason there are no restrictions on my holiday sailing? *Nevermind, I see it. How do we know which restaurants it applies to, and which it doesn't? If it applies to all restaurants that day, it makes the price of the dining package even less desirable.
  5. Food is included if you have the dining package though, right?
  6. I finally got a computer to work (had to use a non-apple device and used Google chrome web browser). My price drop was only $46. I wasn't going to bother but figured I'd call and if they picked up in less than 10 minutes it would be worth it, and if it took more than 10 minutes I'd hang up. They picked up quickly and got the price adjusted and sent me the new invoice in 10 min and 20 seconds.
  7. I was reading reviews in the port section about Roatan Honduras, and came across a thread about Little French Key being under siege, burned down, taken over etc. Some posters are saying they were just there this week, while others are saying they've seen pictures of it being burned to the ground. So I did a quick Google search, which didn't turn up much, but did lead me to Trip Advisor, where the majority of the most recent reviews seem to be coming from fake people (people who have never posted before, so may or may not be real reviews). One had a response from management where the management was basically saying that the review wasn't real, that the place was under siege, and that it wasn't safe. However there's a couple reviews from people with reputable accounts who say they've been there. What the heck is going on???? Does anyone have any background on this, with details about why one side or the other may have differing info or are choosing to lie? I've attached a photo of the trip advisor review. And here's a link to the cruise critic thread (mitsugirly is a well known RC contributor so I would tend to trust her post more than any of the rest I've seen, but her post didn't give much background either so I'm confused).
