  1. On that note I would say with confidence that you will need to be tested for sure , as that is a country specific regulation and has nothing to with Royal .
  2. However... My agent that heard back to back told me that I will need to be tested...
  3. I am doing B2B Sept.24 7 Night Symphony followed by Oct.1 8Night Explorer . I called last night to try and gain info on the process of changimg to second ship (same port) and was told that I will need to test for second leg. This is counter to all the info I had gathered here previously. Not sure if this is just another case of misinformation or if she is right ... Anyone with any concrete evidence would be greatly appreciated ! Cheers
  4. I would agree , not a b2b , however everytime I reference it with them they tell me it is a form of b2b and therefore treated as such . So by saying " ( IF ) the protocols changed " are you implying that you believe (as I did) that current protocols should not require the test ?
  5. Sooooooo , I am sailing back 2 back Symphony then Explorer beginning Sept.24?2022. (7 day then 8 )Both under 9 night , both avoiding Bermuda/Canada. I just called regarding the protocol as far as switching ships and have been told that I will have to test before boarding second ship. This is contrary to everything that I have heard on these boards and elsewhere . Does anyone have any insight as to whether this is correct or whether this is a classic case of guest relations having no clue as to updated protocols. Strange that she also told me this was updated information as of Sept.7/2022 Cheers Colin
  6. I don’t recall that ever being a perk BOGO shake at Johnny's was an offer loaded on most sailings
  7. Does anyone know , Is wash and fold laundry available on every sailing ?
  8. How do you upload your vax cards to your app ? I don't see that option
  9. "You will be asked to disclose your status during check-in " That is how it is written in the app... so it seems maybe that is the actual set protocol, not just people being complacent by not asking for proof .
  10. you clearly have never been responsible for a toddler if you cant understand why this would make someone uncomfortable !
  11. And that my friend is why you are destined to have a poor trip ! If you go in with that attitude the scale is already skewed too far to be subjective and actually see some good. GL to the friends who "Urged" you. Glass half full at its best
  12. it has beeen 4 1/2 years since i was last there and I haven't kept good records of my travels , (wish I had ) , but it seems to me we were docked inside the harbor. Does that sound right ? Where would you expect we would be docking on the Explorer ? That is the part that is confusing me , is that I know I didn't pay a lot to get to Mambo but at the same time I also do not remember 20 minute walk. Possibly I caught a taxi at the terminal and found someone to share with to make about 5$ a piece ?
  13. so those prices are posted for a party up to 4 people ... a poster on another thread stated these prices but stated per person... quite a difference !
  14. Hello all. Second time doing the ABC's . I am really struggling with finding something to do on Bonaire this time around. We don't generally do a lot of excursions ,Some nice snorkel tours or Often times just look for a nice beach to chill for the day , or if it is a place we have been to multiple times we sometimes would enjoy just staying on and enjoying the more empty ship for the day .However In this case we are going to be doing B2B (Symphony followed by Explorer) , and I think that will be enuf ship time for sure. Also with Curacao and Aruba being such beautiful beach stops, the subpar beach we experienced last time around in Bonaire is not too enticing. Have looked through Viator , as well as ship sponsored tours and haven't seemed to come up with much of value. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated . Open to all ideas. Thx
  15. Thx Top 20$ max seems a little more reasonable than $90
  16. How much was the cost for the shared vans ? And were they easy to find for return to ship ?
  17. Soooo... $90 US return cab fare per couple for a beach day is a great option ? Or because it is $90 , the bus would be a great option? Not sure which way to read this
  18. Unless my memory is skewed , in past sailings the Windjammer was never closed for that long a period at any point in the day. Hopefully If/when staffing issues get sorted out , they will shorten the closure period toward supper .
  19. why would it matter for booking purposes ? just book 1 adult in each room . then sleep where you want. Connecting cabins = same room basically , when door is left open
  20. Sailing b2b on Symph/Explorer starting Sept.24. Both are switched to 5:30 early seating . There may be a few days out of 15 that 5:30 ends up a little too early based on port days ,in which case we may skip a couple nights at MDR , but looks like i'd just be rolling the dice counting on MTD working out for us the way I had hoped. Even if we got every night at the earliest 6:45 seating , that is too late for us as we generally take in the earlier shows . * Gotta give the point to Norwegian on this one.
  21. based on everything i have been reading the past few weeks ... GL with that one, People are saying the WIFI is terribly unreliable
