We sailed Wonder in OS for Thanksgiving, our 4th OS on an Oasis ship. The bar on the suite sun deck is not free, only in the Suite Lounge/Coastal Kitchen during "happy hour" I recall it was 5PM-8PM. But we had the DBP so I really didn't pay attention. I know it ended at 8 PM as everybody cleared out then. That was one of the reasons we didn't do dinner in CK until after 7:30-8:00.

Only if they are interactive games does she need internet. My DW likes Wordle and that needs internet. Keep in mind putting all your Voom on one account might be cheaper than everybody getting their own. You might find adding the third device for her isn't all the much more. I download all my books to my eBook before we leave along with any movies from Netflex to my Ipad I want to watch on the plane. That way no internet needed for those items.

Navigator in March, heated pools? Cold?
ATSEAMYLIFE replied to aearly's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Cabo is always much warmer than Rosarito or Ensenada. Rosarito has San Diego weather 55 - 75 (coolest at night to warmest during the day) all year round. I will add that two days ago it was 62, sun was out, no wind, and we were in shorts and t-shirts on our balcony. -
Water bottle package

Exactly what we got on Wonder for Thanksgiving week. DW hates canned water, thinks it taste funny. July on Navigator we got plastic bottles. Go figure? -

Weather will be a crap shoot. Best you could hope for would be high 60's, which isn't bad if it's sunny. Wind chill might be an issue if the ships moving and you can't block the wind. Weather will be about the same the entire trip. -
Cruising with Birth Certificate

Haven't done it, but saw plenty of people using BC and gov ID during our Thanksgiving week cruise out of Port Canaveral. -
You are correct you can log in as many different devices as you want; but only two at the same time. If you are getting a two device package have one person buy it on their reservation. I found it much cheaper the more devices you add on a single account. I bought a four device package in July and the fourth device only cost me $4 per day.

Linked reservations question
ATSEAMYLIFE replied to mspink98's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I linked mine with two other RSVP numbers (adult son, his girlfriend, and our adult grandson). I was able to see their reservations and anything they added to their cruise planner. I could book restaurant reservations for all of us, but I also had to pay for all of us. They couldn't do the reverse as they didn't link to my RSVP number; we didn't see a reason. -
Cruise or land vacations outside the country we buy GeoBlue for medical treatment and evac. I like them as they have preferred providers all over the world and if you go to one there's no money upfront for treatment.

I haven't used them to file a travel related claim. But if it's anything like their other insurances it shouldn't be an issue.

Our TA recommends different companies as some make you purchase at time of booking and others not until you make final deposit. I also found USAA offers travel insurance.

Allure, Harmony, or Wonder of the Seas
ATSEAMYLIFE replied to Jaybarch01's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Plenty of great suggestions, you didn't mention cabin category. We just sailed Wonder during Thanksgiving week in an OS. We have also done Allure, Oasis, and Allure also in OS. We were no fans of the Suite sun deck on Wonder. We spend a lot of time on the suite sun decks and love the other Oasis class suite sun decks. The Wonder layout with the new "Suite Neighborhood" is great as all the suite only areas are just steps from your cabin. However, the sun deck is facing the stern overlooking the sports deck and slides. Not the best view and not very quite when compared to the side facing suite sun decks on the others. -
Wonder of the seas questions
ATSEAMYLIFE replied to mommao729's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Best meal we had was at 150 CP (Thanksgiving Dinner) food and service was so good we went back two nights later. Hot chicken at Mason Jar was very good, Cajun catfish not so much. However, the deep fried Oreo's will bring you back for more. Effector's had great technology and music as posted earlier it ain't about the story line. But dozens of lighted mini-drones flying around inside the theater is well worth seeing. -
Some cabins on the Wonder allow you to cast from your mobile device. We had an OS and were able to cast. Others in our group in OV and JS didn't have the option on their TV's.

Same for us, OS dark blue nothing like on that sign.

Printing Luggage Tags: Must Be in Color?
ATSEAMYLIFE replied to teddie's topic in Royal Caribbean International
So to answer the OP, you can print in color, or not. You can print tags, or not. Hope that helps. -
Must be a TA thing because WiFi calling worked on the Wonder for our Thanksgiving week cruise.
-
Same here, used it all over Europe with no issues and Mexico is included in our plan. Cruising in Caribbean we just use WiFI on the ship and cellular on land. But on land we have never accepted the charges and therefore have never been charged (turn off Data roaming). We figure if we have to use it during a short port stop then the cost isn't a big deal as something bad happened.

No matter how you describe it the process is taking more time dealing with you than with me. -

Make one out at the pier when you give luggage to the porter. However, I feel that's pretty inconsiderate as it takes up the porters time when they could be picking up other passengers luggage. Can you imagine how slow it would be if everybody waited and filled out their tags at the pier while the porter stood around and waited? -

Don't even consider flying with a firearm in your checked bag out of OAK.

We had a death in the immediate family (not traveling with us) two days before we sailed. We canceled, or I should say our TA canceled for us, and after providing a death certificate we got a check for more than what we spent within about two weeks. After 20 years of traveling this was the first time I ever bought insurance. I believe in your case it will be "trip interruption" coverage and I recall it's only for expenses after you leave the ship and to get home. I doubt you will get anything for the missed cruise days.
