Apparently the smoking area on deck 16 has been removed, leaving the only smoking areas being outside the Live Lounge and Java on deck 7. We don't smoke, but it's a long way down from the pools etc for those that like a quick puff... Andy

Thank you. Yes, 2nd sitting, table for 8 as we are going with family for the first time and all the challenges that come with that... We have a GF vegetarian, 2 smokers and 2 very fussy eaters, so should be fun😂 Andy

Seems like promising news... La Voix has posted and her cabin has been refurbished with new carpets etc. So at least some of the cabins have had some attention, she is on deck 8. Andy

It seems the wonderful La Voix is on board from tomorrow and is going to do a floor by floor vlog showing the changes and will post it on the site that can't be mentioned. Unfortunately this won't tell us much about the cabins though. Andy

Of course, I won't do an in depth report, but will give an overview and happy to answer any questions. Hopefully someone on tomorrows cruise might give us an update. Andy

Our sofa and bed were fine last year, carpets a bit grubby but probably didn't warrant replacing. The balcony furniture was tatty, but I think they replaced a lot of it soon after. I will find out on Friday.. Woo Hoo... Andy

Seems to have been a lot of work in the public areas, let's just hope the cabins got a spruce up, but I'm not holding my breath... Andy

That's a surprise as they had started work on it before the last cruise ended... Must be quite a transformation to take that long, or someone forgot to order the carpet😂 Andy

Not much info out there but it seems to be going to plan. We are on her on 26th, so will report back if nobody else has done so by then. It sounds like a general spruce up and maintenance, nothing too exciting. I was hoping for wheels so we could go sightseeing without leaving the Crows nest😂 Andy

Yeah, we definitely need more sophisticated entertainment like Princess, who's daytime schedule includes making paper aeroplanes and throwing them about the atrium... 😂 There is enough to do on these ships to avoid the Butlins brigade, I have never heard the cocktail pianist in the Crows Nest shout 'are you having a good time'... Something to consider for those 'late' bookers... Chances are it's MDR freedom or buffet for them. So you can book restaurants before final payment is due? This is a massive change of policy, maybe for the better, who knows... Andy

Nah Tiger, according to P&O, you and all the other posters on here and FB must all be 'confused'... 😂😂😂 We questioned it again and, despite it seeming like we have received the discount, P&O are still insisting they have never offered it for the Limelight... We won't know for definite until we board, but if it is £42 on the ship, then we have received the 'discount that never existed'... Andy

Update from P&O... They say they have NEVER offered 20%discount for pre booking the Limelight... Only ever loyalty discount. That's fine, we are happy to pay what we paid, but didn't want to feel cheated. According to P&O, all you people who claim to have received this discount, to quote P&O, 'must be confused'... 😂 Andy

I will give them a call when I get a bit of time... It seems like we are not the only ones on our cruise, some have got the discount and others haven't. Andy

We are seeing Ray Quinn, the advertised price is £35. We got our little bit of loyalty discount, but definitely not 20% as well. Other passengers on our cruise seem to be paying £28, (£35-20%) so not sure why we have paid more? Andy

Thank you, it's a lot of typos, every night shows £9.20. I assume the 20% does not apply to the Limelight? We got our loyalty discount but nothing else.
