  1. If you're willing to pay up to anything then surely its easier to just upgrade normally? Speak to your travel agent and upgrade your cabin
  2. Honestly I've cruised a few times with x and never even noticed the kids as the kids clubs are set up and they spend most of their time their. There are also adult only pools so we went there to swim. Celebrity have just spent a fortune putting in impressive camp at seas facilities. I doubt they'd even consider killing off that demographic The swim I noticed kids the most was silversea which is not aimed at kids at all and has zero facilities for them. So the few kids that were on board had nothing to do but splash about in the pool and be a nuciance. Although seemed they were very inconsiderate parents too as they left soiled diapers around the pool too.
  3. You only keep the perks you have. So you won't get the upgraded alcohol or WiFi packages. You do however get access to the retreat and lumina and the fast track check-in. Etc
  4. So we are considering upgrading to a suite - myself, my partner and my baby If it says it comes with $300.on board credit per person is that only for the two adults or does the baby get $300 too? Thanks
  5. If they don't then highly reccomend using sterilising tablets. Not sure where you are from the UK have Milton tablets and you can buy a bucket type thing and fill it with cold water and just the bottles in and done
  6. For those in a similar situation I got the email today. Wish me luck. Shhh don't tell my husband. We did discuss price bids but told him we aren't eligible so if we get it it will be a lovely suprise for his 30th. 🖕🤞🤞
  7. For those that suggested I emailed. I got this reply. Still no idea if I am "eligable" and what that means but I've updated my settings so fingers crossed though still can't access at this stage. 8. I have a feeling cos of the travel agent I used I'm not eligible. But have emailed and asked about it. Maybe I can still opt in. But my experience with response times with celebrity I think it will be a long wait til I hear back. It's a shame as its my husbands 30th in a few weeks and really wanted to suprise him when we got there (the cruise is two months away still)
  9. I don't know what a big box store is. I am travelling on a travel agents rate though. I have tried to login myself but does t seem to work
  10. So we've booked for a cruise only package in concierge. Would really love to upgrade to a sky suite so waiting for move up. Some people on the group for our cruise said they have had their move up email them today and made bids but when I try it hasnt opened yet. Can I not use move up if on a cruise only rate
  11. Could anyone reccomend taxi company which will provide infant car seats to the airport to the city centre and city centre to port. I don't want to take a car seat with me when that's the only time we'll be using it. Thanks

  13. I was similar to you and cruised a number of cruise lines in my early 20s to 30s - never felt out of place even on the ships with older crowds - I always found everyone friendly to me cos I was one of the youngsters on the older ships. But celebrity is one of the younger ones and we certainly never felt out of place
  14. My parents always took us cruises when I was that age as I was a very fussy eater. They used to always ask for menus in advance and if nothing I would eat they would ask the maitre d' and they'd always make me something different. Across various cruise lines this was never once an issue and I am assuming these days it still isn't. We are travelling with our 9 month old jn a few weeks and we spoke to celebrity and were told they will always provide us blended and mashed plain food and to speak to dining staff after boarding.
  15. Most hotels don't open for bookings til 12-18 months before. No way they are sold out 22 months ahead. They're just not open yet. Relax.
  16. We would and have taken a cruise only rate. For our 9 day cruise for two adults and a baby the difference was over £1000. I thjnk we worked the gratuities out to be about £350. My baby will not be drinking or using WiFi. I am teetotal and my husband may have a couple of whiskies the whole trip and that's it. As we are from the UK and going to Europe we have free Internet in port and from what we heard its really poor anyway. So saved us around £700 by not having it. Its a no brainer
  17. We are going with my 9 month old and that price sounds pretty similar to what we are paying
  18. Make sure your insurance will cover you is the biggest thing. At 15 weeks you should hopefully be over the worst of thr first trimester but you might still be tired. So make sure you factor in some rest time and maybe cancel excursions that are very intense (and any that involve alcohol). And avoid any rice etc on a buffet Other than that have a fun time
  19. Docking time is 6am. From the looks of it the airport is half an hour away and we need to be there about an hour before. So need to leave the ship by about 8 at the latest and pref by 730 The next available flight isn't til 6pm and we have a young baby so don't want to be sat around for 10 hours. If docking at 6am whats the earliest you can get off?
