  1. Thank you for making the chart, very handy If you are keeping it up to date, they have increased the prices for dining Guy's pig and anchor is showing a $ (and no longer the included flag) on the carnival site, not sure if that's something coming or just carnival's website being wrong again
  2. Are soda's included in the free items, or do you have to pay for those? How about sparkling water, will they bring that?
  3. I would call Carnival or your travel planner, I wouldn't trust doing it on the website as it's been bad lately with errors and duplicated orders.
  4. To add to the price increase in the villas, I just got this email about the removal of the AC The rental is for June 2024 ----------------------------------------- Our records indicate that you have purchased tickets for the following tour for your cruise: Beach Villa Rental in the port of Half Moon Cay. Kindly note that the Island’s operational team just advised us that from the 1st of October, 2023 the Villas on Half Moon Cay will no longer be air-conditioned. If this change in the amenities no longer fits your needs, you can log into your portal and cancel your booking for a full refund. Please note that refunds are processed to the original form of payments and in case of Credit cards it takes 7-10 days to process. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. Regards, CARNIVAL ADVENTURES TEAM Carnival Cruise Line CHOOSE FUN®
  5. The code is definitely tied to the account
  6. If anyone does get a code and has no use for it, I could use one :)
  7. Here's some additional renderings of the new terminal https://arquitectonica.com/architecture/project/msc-cruises-terminal-at-port-miami/
  8. Looking at the miami port cam, garage seems done, first level (maybe second) of the terminal looks poured. It took me a few attempts to determine it's called AA/AAA, and from there I found Royal's (which is at A) and in live cams just look for royal's odd shaped building (opposite side of where Virgin parks) Details from one of the "breaking ground" news reports said target of end of 2023, when I booked an April 24 cruise they said it would be done (fingers crossed) The news entry Aside from the terminal building itself, the new complex – which is currently projected to be completed by the end of 2023 – will include a multi-level parking garage for 2,400 vehicles, new road construction to ensure traffic flows smoothly, and a total of three berths capable of accommodating the largest of cruise ships. The company will build two of those new docks; Miami-Dade County will construct the third. The project also involves the construction of related shore infrastructure, including water supply stations and four passenger embarkation decks.
  9. If they are not keeping the area exclusive (as those in YC paid for), maybe they need to start charging a fee Scan every card, if not in YC, $149 charge for each 30 minutes in YC until they "check out" at guest services. Additional non-removal charge of $99 for bar services and $109 specialty dining fee +tax/tips/service charges. Totaling around $499 (per 30 minutes) with a max of $1499 a day No card, ask for room number, pull up details on ipad, if not who they say there are, add additional $149 processing fee to the above fees I'd prefer they just enforce the exclusivity of the area, and not hit guests with massive (and more then likely higher then the cruise fare fees), but the other option is to ditch YC concept all together, make it free for all
  10. Is this a common occurrence in Yacht Club, or more of a one off? YC sounds like a great vacation, but with this thread and others it seems more like it "was" great before, and is now more of a free for all mess
  11. 8 day from Baltimore (Sept '23) priced at more then 8,000 dollars for a suite $2,900 for an interior $4,800 for a balcony This is on an older ship (Legend), 2 people Carnival will price themselves out of the market if they continue this path
  12. Both stink and my wife is allergic to them, so no difference in my opinion Did they ever implement the next generation air filtration they talked about in 2020? "Geneva, Switzerland - 21st October 2020 – MSC Cruises will be the first cruise line in the world to install a new and advanced innovative technology sanitation system called ‘Safe Air’ to improve further the quality and cleanliness of the onboard air for its guests and crew.‘Safe Air’ will be fitted on MSC Seashore, one of the largest and most technologically advanced ships ever built in Italy and currently under construction at shipbuilder Fincantieri’s Monfalcone yard and set to be delivered in July 2021 and be the first of two ‘Seaside Evo’ Class ships."
  13. Cheers max drink price went way down was $50 per serving, now $20 or less Steak at dinner/breakfast, it's food, but it's nothing like the fillet Drug dogs before boarding, some ships have them stationed onboard (may only be 1 currently) Service level is not even close to the same, they still blame staffing issues, it's still fine overall Some Bars where removed from casinos, varies by ship, countered by plenty of staff serving while playing The muster drill is way way better now, huge positive
  14. Thank you! It sounds like it's working as it should, there was some casino offers on the other rooms on the June '23 sailing, maybe that had something to do with it.
  15. We have a few upcoming trips with Carnival, some rooms have plat members, some are in suites, some are regular rooms with faster to the fun. On our last cruise, June 2023, the rooms with Faster to the fun (non-plat, not in suites) all had priority boarding, the luggage tag showed priority + faster to the fun, check-in was 2 days before the general checking (aka at the same time as suites and plat) On the upcoming cruise in Sept, one room, with plat and faster to the fun (turning plat on that cruise), has priority and faster to the fun on the luggage tag, check-in shows 2 days before the general check-in for regular rooms - normal and expected results In Dec 2023, we have a bunch of different family's traveling together, a mix of excel suite, regular rooms, interior, some are gold, some plat. Anyone not plat or in a regular room got Faster to the fun (fttf) purchased Suites - shows priority on luggage tags, priority on the boarding pass, check in 2 days prior to general check-in (normal, expected) Regular room with fttf - check-in is the regular 14 days prior, no priority on the luggage tag, no priority on boarding pass (shows fttf) Inside room with fttf - check-in is the regular 14 days prior, no priority on luggage tag, no priority on boarding pass (shows fttf) (To see luggage tags and boarding pass, I used the direct link as there isn't a button, this link replacing ABCD1234 with the booking id) https://www.carnival.com/booked/document?BookingNumber=ABCD1234&IsPrintLuggageTagsSelected=true&IsPrintPassFlightSelected=true&IsPrintCruiseInfoSelected=true I checked other upcoming bookings and they are all showing the same, Faster to the fun no longer showing as priority or having 2 extra days of check-in Is this a change that I missed, or something broken with carnival.com again
  16. This is the Mardi Gras, but similar enough. The view from the sofa is amazing, we spent most days hanging out here as we rented multiple cabana's (big family trip)
  17. Yes, children are allowed They will also bring you food and drinks, and have a special menu of choices. I even had them bring Guy's burgers. Great staff, excellent service, very expensive, be sure to tip the hard working crew.
  18. "Regardless of the type of test taken, unvaccinated guests will be required to present their negative test results via VeriFLY or as part of the embarkation process. " Wonder how that will work
  19. Looks good, nice to see some more options and a bit of a kick
  20. I'm not sure if it's a glitch in the matrix, but I was able to book them for non-excel suites (ocean suites) for the week. Something I only saw on a cruise where someone had an excel suite. https://www.carnival.com/cabana/loft-19-cabana-HB2 if anyone is interested in them, showing 6 more available as of now (10 where available a few hours ago)
  21. Good point on that, my brother is diamond but in a suite this time so maybe it is different for regular rooms then. Anyone have the email for an upcoming diamond/plat in non-suite?
  22.
