  1. I'm interested in Aruba and Curacao ideas!  When we stopped at Amber Cove, we made that a beach day...sat and relaxed.  Half Moon Key has also been a beach day!  The lunch there is very good.  We have done lots of walking there.  The beach is great to walk.  This year we're doing a 10 day cruise that includes a partial Panama Canal transit!

  2. @kazuSo sorry to hear about Shadow and your hand...she knew love from you.  @dfishThe stuffed shells look yummy.  I'm a fan of thrift shops, love to shop there, and we've also donated lots.  No black cats here, just a black dog!  We haven't been to todays port, but while on a land trip in the Alpine region in Europe, we did spend  a day in Bled...took the boat ride to the church.  The pictures of the bakery brought back memories of that day!  Have a great day!

  3. Good morning everyone!  Thanks for the lists and fleet report.  No cats here, we have a dog.  My zucchini is not as prolific as it was last year.  We'll see what we get...did have to give away many last year.  The chicken stir fry looks good. Today we're taking our DGD's for lunch and shopping...one is celebrating her birthday!  We just booked our winter get-away, 10 days on the Eurodam!

We went fishing yesterday and John got two nice smallmouth bass. I caught a tiny largemouth.  It was a great day fishing because the Loon family presented themselves. It is always a cause for celebration that there is a precious chick.

It's always fun to see the loons.  They remind me of our childhood camping trips to Up-North Wisconsin!  Their calls are so fun to hear!  We travel to central Wisconsin, and occasionally see a loon there...during their migration time.

We had a fun time at our German Fest on Friday.  Milwaukee has a huge park, and the 1st celebration of the year is Summerfest, it's a huge music celebration.  Then, throughout the summer there are several ethnic celebrations.

Still saying Yay to those celebrating and prayers for those who need them.   And welcome to @Paw13Pauline!

  5. Good morning from a pleasant morning in SE Wisconsin.  This weekend is our local German Fest---we'll be having dinner there, along with some beer, I'm sure.  DH seems to be over his bout of covid, so far, I've tested negative.  I had it in March of 2020, when it first was starting here.  DH never got it from me then.  @kazugood luck with Shadow.  Hoping everyone has a good weekend, and prayers for all who need them and Yay for all of the celebrations.

The alternative suggestion would suit me better but today's menu is apple juice, chicken broth, and ginger ale, plus a quart of some noxious solution at 5:00 p.m. and another quart at 2:30 a.m. I hope I don't sound too enthusiastic.

Good luck!  Your post brings back recent bad memories.  That "noxious" solution was not good...I couldn't get all of it down at the early am dose.  Luckily, the test came out fine!

@kazu  Have fun with Shadow, can't wait to hear more.  Your flowers are beautiful.

DH is dealing with a mild case of covid.  Felt poorly for 36 hours, then felt fine, but he is troubled with a lingering cough now.

Prayers for all who need them, and "yay" for those celebrating.  Karen
