Just had a look at the Juneau webcam....Scrapnana's weather report looks to be spot on! A wet and dreary day. L.

We travelled as a family on the Koningsdam in 2019....3 rooms side by side. We had our deck dividers open all the time, but there was still a good amount of privacy.. This photo shows how it worked. L.

So hard for me to make sailaways during the week! My boss frowns on me watching cruise ships sailing into Juneau when I should be working! 😁😁 L.

I'm afraid you will probably find that your wait time is longer than 45 minutes. Does HAL know you are travelling with your daughter? If not, I would suggest you let them know. My husband and I have cruised twice with my dad and his friend, and my TA lets HAL know we are travelling together. The first time we had guarantee rooms, and HAL made sure our rooms were beside each other. They know we will generally eat together...it will be very convenient for you when you are travelling with others if HAL knows. L.

When we flew back from San Diego to Canada, we offered out QR codes on our phone to Air Canada, and they said "no, we want to see the actual paper....nevre did scan it, just physically looked at it. L.

Well, they let us on the boat, so...... 😁 Yes, it is adequate. L.

I'm in BC, (not Ontario) but I can try to answer your questions. Do you have a copy of your federal proof of vaccination? (I don't know how different your Provincial one is from the Federal one.) We sailed on the Koningsdam in March from San Diego CA, and that was the document they were looking for. I'm attaching a copy of mine with pertinent info removed, and I checked to make sure the QR code does not work. You will see it has the list of types of my vaccinations, and I have whited out my name and the dates of the vaccines, but your federal copy should look pretty much the same. This was also the document we needed to show to fly to San Diego and to get home. L.

HAHAHAHA!! Oh well, at least I got yesteday right, and was able to see Koningsdam sailaway last night. L.

Came here at 10:00 Juneau time, but I guess that Noordam has already arrived. Missed her sailing in! L.
