    The Transit Electronic Travel Authority for Sri Lanka that Oceania says we should apply for is only good for up to two days. With the recent port changes, we are staying 3 days, not two. I am awaiting a response from O if we need a different type visa or ETA.
  3. You will get a refund to your account of the credit for the canceled excursion and you will be given the opportunity to use your credit at another port. If your credit remains unused, it has no value. If you get a refund to your credit card, your shore excursions will be repriced without the 25% discount and you may owe $. Doesn't sound fair, especially if other excursions are sold out or if there are no other ports to book, but that's what O told me. If anyone knows if it's handled differently, please correct me.
  4. My cruise included 18 shore excursions under O life. I was able to book 24 excursions under simply more and had a little credit left.
  5. My shareholder obc does show on the website, but it is not specifically listed as shareholder credit, rather complimentary onboard credit, split between myself and my wife's credit.
  6. Do we know if the 25% discount will apply to all excursions or only those over the minimum threshold?
  7. The reply I received indicated that the Visa Dept. was aware of the visa exemption policy and was looking into the matter. They indicated that nothing had yet been updated, pending feedback from management So I am hopeful also that the visa policy will be updated.
  8. I received a reply to my email to Oceania regarding the necessity for a visa for china. They replied that the information I supplied concerning the 15 day visa exemption is correct and that nothing has been updated yet pending feedback from management. So I'm hopeful that Oceania will eliminate the need for a China visa.
  9. So is there someone who has an O connected travel agent who can take on the issue of the requirement to obtain a China Visa? A Visa exception was offered by other cruiselines, pre-covid, and appears to be available today. I tried to address the issue directly with O, but can't get to the person who deals with Visa issues.
  10. I called O months ago as I have a copy of what Holland America provided to their guests, pre covid. They would not connect me to anyone who could answer my questions directly. They did not seem to grasp the issue.
  11. Could it be you are comparing the cruise only price with the O-life price?
  12. The 2 excursions are not in my cart. They are offering to put all 41 excursions to bring back the your world pricing, but I'm not ready to pay. I understand that they are not confirmed bookings till paid. I want to be able to easily drop wxcursions from my cart, without having to call customer service as I join private excursions. Am I asking too much to expect website reservations to work correctly?
  13. I guess spending 40 minutes on hold to speak with a representative did not help my thoughts about O customer service. And them being unable to fix their problem irritates me even more. I'm booked on an extended O cruise, trying to book shore excursions on the O website. I put 41 excursions in my cart and only 39 show up. 2 calls to O customer Service, and they cannot fix the issue. Their IT dept. suggests a work around that is not acceptable. Seems something is screwed up on their website for a particular day, of my cruise and they can't fix it or bother to try. They put the 2 excursions into my booking, not my cart. When they did that the website no longer showed Your World pricing for the other 39 excursions. When I called the 2nd time, I had them undo the changes to bring back the correct pricing on the other 39 excursions. They said they could add all (41) the excursions to my booking, not cart and that would fix the pricing. The cruise being almost a year away, I did not find that as an acceptable solution as I would not be able to edit my selections, if I join private excursions. So for now there are 2 excursions that I would like to book but can't because they won't go into my cart.
  14. I thought I had read that ncl was no longer refunding port fees for missed ports. We missed our 1st port, key west on the dawn and fees were refunded. They did not post the refund till the day before cruise ended.
  15. Aboard dawn, non refundable obc can no longer be cashed out through casino.
  16. There is a link in the docs to print luggage tags. A little hidden and hard to spot, but it is there....
  17. New to O and have 1st cruise booked for travel in 2024. Made a payment today, and now listed under Amenities and Gifts is: Virtuoso Voyages, which was not on original invoice. Can someone explain what this is?
  18. I am new to O, but I believe they state that every 3 months fares can go up. The cruise I'm booked on did not change.
  19. No, but it is split between myself and my wife. I submitted 2 requests to NCLH on the same day. One for an NCL cruise and the other for O. It took a couple of weeks for the O credit to show up. I did not question the delay as I figured the NCLH shareholder benefit had not yet been approved. But it showed up in my account this week ($250.) and I can't think of anywhere else it could be from.
  20. I submitted a request for shareholder credit for a 2024 cruise. Did not get a reply, but the obc did show up in my account.
  21. Due to a serious illness, I had to cancel my trip. I was impressed by Lindblad Customer Service, they made a full Cash refund. Thank you Lindblad.....
