Well try be fair, it's the new rule with everything. I can say the same about my groceries and the Chinese take-out I had last night.

I was just able to buy two gift cards a few minutes ago. So it seems things might be back to normal.

Many thanks to all of you for reassuring me that I wasn't selfishly "taking" a cabin from someone who needs it more than we do. Yesterday's doc visit with my husband actually cemented for me that we will definitely need the accessible. THANK YOU

@reedprincess thank you! I knew deep down that I was, but it's nice to have it confirmed. We haven't been on a cruise in y-e-a-r-s and I want it to be as easy as possible for him.

My husband has mobility issues due to a head injury. He currently uses a wheelchair for anything but very, very short distances. We are considering getting him a Rollator to try to give him a little more independence. We currently have an accessible inside cabin booked for our November cruise, but in the event he gains more steady mobility, I'd hate to take that cabin away from someone who needs it more. Can anyone weigh in on whether a folded Rollator could fit through a normal cabin door? And, he definitely will need a shower chair and hold bars in the bathroom (shower and toilet), so I don't know if that is even a possibility in a regular cabin. I will be asking this on the disabled travel forum, but they don't get a lot of traffic and it's obviously not Princess-specific. If anyone can weigh in, that would be great. I think he would be most comfortable in the accessible cabin, but again, I know there are folks who might need it more. Maybe I'm overthinking things? TIA

EDIT: Geez, I just realized I commented on the wrong post! Please disregard for this particular issue, but I'll leave it here anyway in case it can help anyone else. Just a quick note that might not be any help, but who knows. I used the chat feature today to ask a question about EZAir. I entered my name, etc. with my question and waited for an agent to join the chat. When they did, it was clearly an automated message that said something to the effect of, "This is Jolene, blah blah blah, our system is currently down. Please call ... for help with your booking." I got distracted and started doing something else when I heard the chat window "ding." I had a message from another rep that said, "Hi mamafun, I see you are still in the chat, was there something else we can help with?" I typed my question again and got an answer right away. So maybe that "system is down" message is just a way to try to weed down the number of chats?

@XBGuy Thank you for this great, informative comment. We are planning ahead for an Alaska cruise in 2025 or 26 and you've made me feel like I can take a breath and stop overthinking things.

Me, an inside cabin peon, reading this thread. (I mean no shade - I just find it funny how many threads are about things I will never have to think about for myself.)

Nevermind! It was right under my nose. (And after all, booking my own flights on my preferred airline was cheaper anyway.)

I'm sure there's a place to do this, but I can't seem to find anywhere to switch my departure airport. I know I had to choose one when I made the original cruise booking. Does anyone know where/how? I looked through my profile, but it doesn't look like it's there. Thanks!
