In the next 24 days, the 8 of us hope to be on the Regal Princess for the first time. If YOU have been on this ship within the past year or less, what would YOU recommend we SEE or DO, that you enjoyed on this ship?

Those temperatures LOOK very good to me. 🙂

I did check with my PVP, just to make sure "I" was telling the other 7 people who were with me, correctly. She did say the OBC that we have is ours, but it NEEDS to be spent, as will lose it, and I conveyed that to the other 7 as well. Even though we purchased the premium package, I have a feeling one way or another, well try to find something to spend it on. 🙂

I don't remember seeing "Please enjoy using these credits onboard as they are not refundable," on ALL of our emails that I received. The ONLY thing I noticed was that there were no astricks by the OBC amounts. I have TOLD all my group they have these OBC to spend on the ship,so hopefully this works. 🙂 We bought the Premier Package or the expensive one, and that SHOULD cover everything that we will be doing, as we don't do the casino, spa, etc. and if they are NOT going to refund it, then we DO need to spend it! 🙂

All I can say is I have Princess PVP, and had NO clue that I would be getting any OBC, having 7 other people with me. To make the long story short, they got $25 OBC, and I received an additional $25 OBC for them as well, for referring them.

The question was ask, can pizza be ordered from Alfredo's to go? I think someone said if you had the Premier Package, that could be done twice. Is that "twice" for the whole trip, or twice a day?

All I know is our cruise was already paid for, but we had NOT put the REQUIRED information into the system. When we did that, we also ordered the Premier Package for us, and that was charged on the credit card then.

Actually I just looked, and did not find any astricks. So I gather(???) that we should spend this on the ship, or lose it???

The 8 of us will be cruising on the Regal less than a month from now. I had looked at the deck plans and seen the Retreat listed. What is so special about this pool, other than it is the same depth for the whole pool?

Hmorrow, thanks for giving your input on this. So as long as we go to guest services, they should be able to add her credit card, and not have mine covering any expenses she might have, right?

The room was booked under my name. I have a friend that will be in the room with me. When we went into the system to put her information in "first", along with the CREDIT CARD information, ordering the Premier Package as well, her information was kicked out. Once we put my information in, and "ordered" the Premier Package, MY credit card was charged for both of us, instead of using her credit card information too. Just curious why?

OK, lets see if??? I understand this right. We will be cruising on the 25th of next month, or a month from yesterday. We were working on trying to get ALL information into the system last night, as we knew it needed to be done. I received confirmation from Princess this morning that everything as well as the "Premier Package" went through. Also our OBC went up $25 as well. Actually, if there is nothing purchased on the ship, there won't be any bill. Do we still lose OBC, or as someone mentioned it is mailed to us? The word REFUNDABLE has been mentioned more than one time in regard to OBC. How do I know if it is refundable? In other words, if it is NOT refundable, than I should be using the OBC for something on the ship, right???

I am making "notes" for myself, and I especially didn't want to miss the champagne tower, even though I don't drink champagne, as well as I didn't want any of us to miss the formal nights too. 🙂 I'm sure the paper they put in the room tells this, but since I'm making up my notes "ahead" of time, that will sort of give me a "heads up." 🙂

Paula MacFan, I failed to ask you when I posted to you earlier. I think your itinerary is the same as what ours will be, starting with Sunday. What night was your first formal night, and was that also the champagne tower event or I think???, it was meet the captain night? I haven't done the champagne tower in 24 years, and I want to do it again. 🙂

Yes you are right about the luggage taking quite a bit of room in the MDR, especially if we cannot get into our room, until after we eat.

I agree, do NOT cancel the other person ahead of time. I knew if my friend was not able to go (thankfully I found another friend at the last minute 🙂 ), my PVP told me I would lose at least $500 or more.

I'm enjoying reading your review, along with pictures, and hope to continue along for the rest of your trip. I'm still trying to get all the information on the Regal I can for the 8 of us, who plan to cruise in February. So you are from Salina, Kansas, my grandparents lived in Ottawa, Kansas. We live in K.C. (Gladstone), Missouri not far from the airport, which comes in handy at times. I was sorry to read that quite a bit of your itinerary had been changed because of the weather conditions, but I understand the captains report, as he wants to keep his people safe. My son and wife (they are going with the rest of us) did some searching a few months go in Roatan, Honduras. I'm hoping we will be able to do that, as he was talking with someone who is to take the 8 of us around, where ever we want to go for a reasonable price for the whole day. I knew I had been to Mahogany Bay which is nice, but when he told me of "other" things that he wanted me and others to see, I was all for it. My friend who will be in the room with me, this is her FIRST cruise, so she is getting excited, and I hope she is not disappointed, but knowing her, she will be happy with anything as long as we are all together. 🙂

I believe I may have posted something like this, but my son/d-i-l just got back from some of this area. Since they knew less than a month we would be in some of this area, they decided to check some things out and see what they could find. My son did say he talked with someone ahead of time and they exchanged phone numbers, and for a reasonable price, this driver will be our driver all day for the 8 of us, which will really come in handy.

OK, guess we'll just have to WAIT and see what time we get on the ship, and it it is after that time, we'll just have to LOOK for another place. 🙂 I was just looking forward to checking out one of their dining rooms for the first time, but it may not happen.

All I can say is this ALMOST happened to me, but I was able to make a BIG change. I was counting on my friend to go with me, but to make the long story short a few months ago she got sick and kept getting worse, and she just found out she has leukemia, and had to start treatments, so she couldn't go. I knew I would be fine with the room (I had paid for all of it), and I do have a Princess CVP, so I contacted her as soon as I knew my friend was not able to go, and what would the options be (losing money or etc.), or what if I could get someone else to go in her place. My CVP told me that I would probably lose about $500, but if I could find someone to take her place, she didn't think there would be any charge for changing the names, and thank God I was able to get someone to go, and her name was put in the place of my friends. Now I don't know if you booked the room on line, or if you have a CVP, but I will say she has really been a blessing when trying to book for the 8 of us.

I will have over $100 OBC when I get on the ship. I really don't know what I will be purchasing, since most everything I will want I will be getting with the Premier Package. If I didn't use any of the $100 OBC, do they apply that to my bill at the end, to subtract what I owe?
