  1. 12 months a year? Check NCL.com and the posted letters from NCL in this thread. Napali coast is gone for all future bookings.
  2. How many of you posting about how a fifteen year old girl feels has been a fifteen year old girl within the last twenty years?
  3. It may actually be insulting to the crew to make them do this every cruise. These are smart people and they aren't really being asked to do anything to the limits of their abilities.
  4. This just doesn't look like very good insurance. I would keep looking.
  5. I carry twenties and can break them up in the Casino (either the bill breaker machine or cashier) as often as I need to.
  6. The "flash sale" is the same deal they have had for days/weeks.
  7. Does "more contagious" equate to "more serious?" I don't think so. Covid seems to become less severe with every variant (typical pattern for viruses), so there may not be any real news here.
  8. I think you've found the only rational explanation.
  9. I agree. Even if I have a balcony, I'll still be spending most of my time in the observation lounge or great outdoors.
  10. I've done Alaska both with and without a balcony. The ones without were on the Jewel, which has the Observation Lounge and Great Outdoors just like the Sun. If budget/pricing is an issue with the OP, I wouldn't discourage them from sailing the Sun in an inside. Alaska is great no matter how you sail!
  11. That's why I was asking why you thought that a balcony was "required."
  12. Doesn't the Sun have a nice observation lounge plus The Great Outdoors deck on the rear of the ship?
  13. This is not what the requirement states. It states every 48 hours until they reach the tenth day since they left China, etc.
  14. My sailing partner had symptoms and I had been a bit congested. Since we had a bunch of the free tests, we both took them. She was negative, but I was (surprisingly) positive! The congestion only lasted for about a day and I felt great the entire time, despite testing positive for another week or so. I read about a lot of people testing positive, but fortunately most postings haven't reported people getting seriously sick or having to go to the hospital. I don't think Covid is anything to worry about for most reasonably healthy people anymore.
  15. Me too!! 3 fun cruises and I never got sick. I did test positive for Covid after the last, but I didn't feel "sick" for a moment.
  16. I tested positive for Covid after my last cruise. I'm glad I did!! I had very minor symptoms (I only tested because I felt congested and had a bunch of those free tests). Now, I've added natural immunity to my vax status. Bring on the next cruise!!!
  17. It's not. Besides the MDRs, you'll have The Local and the buffet. I've had excellent dinners in all of them.
  18. Can you fill me in about this? I'll be on GSC next year and was wondering about the clam shells. They don't show up as a shore excursion option for me. Thank you.
