Hi,we were on iona to the fjords last year and britannia this year to the med.I definitely perfered iona as a ship as it was a much better layout and much more natural light due to the huge glass windows. Britannia seemed very dark and pokey in comparison although I did prefer the balcony cabins as they had a larger dressing area.Top tip..if you can stretch to it buy the retreat package as it gives you a better relaxing area.

Hi we have only chosen freedom dining before.If we chose set dining what happens if we want to eat I speciality restaurants occasionally, do you just not turn up in mdr room or how does it work please?

Not in Advance but we booked it the day before a sunny sea day.Just go to the spa and ask reception

I was on britannia in april on a med cruise.We managed to buy a day pass for £40 each and throughly enjoyed our day there.So much calmer and relaxing with great views.Dont bother with having meals in there though as very poor choice.Staff very nice and come round offering tea/coffee and blankets if needed.Wish we could have afforded the whole 12 days in there.

Hi we are on britannia on Sunday and also can't book restaurants but also had an email from booking agent saying this is not available to do before departure on this particular cruise but I have booked the included entertainment.

We went last July and had an amazing time.iona is perfect for this cruise because of the amount of windows she has in the atrium. We would definitely do this cruise again. One tip..get up early and watch coming through the fjords sitting on your balcony..magical

I'm on britannia in april.Can I book the beach house and sindu in Advance on my personal planner 2 weeks before or do I have to wait till onboard?

Sorry to jump on your question with my own but not sure how to create my own one.Anyway ...I am familiar with ocean terminal southampton but this time will be at the mayflower terminal, are the procedures the same and also I found the checking In time at ocean very flexible, is this the case too at mayflower please!

Hi we booked our massages in the spa in advance as we wanted to choose the time that suited us but if you choose an early or late time it will be cheaper.Regarding offers on board they were mainly package deals but it's another matter if they have any space left at the times you want.

We had a cruise on iona this July and had a extended balcony 11515 on starboard side and at Olden was able to watch the famous sail away from the locals from our balcony.Also at Hellesylt woke up to the beautiful waterfall so maybe on this cruise starboard maybe more favorable perhaps.we throughly enjoyed this trip.

We stayed in 11515 on iona this year and really enjoyed the extra space.You can still have your privacy by sitting back a bit and the balcony divider was opened up to my sisters cabin next door.After being in my sisters cabin awhile the normal balcony felt a bit cramped after being used to the extended one.Have booked the same style balcony for next year to the canaries.Gives you much more room if you want breakfast on your balcony.
