  1. This happens all the time. Mine showed June 2nd and June 3rd for months....now that it's only a few days away, they both show the 3rd. It'll probably fix itself in a few days. Same thing happened to me last year, as well.
  2. I'm still 7 months out, but still only see a few excursions and some "extras" options on the website. I don't see the fun pass or options to do some other stuff that I know is available on the ship. The reason I know there are more options is because I have access to the Travel agent booking site for MSC and when I do a mock booking, I see a TON of more excursions and extras available for purchase with a new cruise booking, but don't see a lot of those available to my current booking on the app or website yet. So I'm wondering if they populate more as the cruise gets closer?
  3. With Fantastica, you also get this perk, I used it recently- it's 90 days forward. We moved ours almost exactly 3 months ahead. I would assume if Fantastica was 90 days, YC would be too.
  4. Thank you for this! Sailing on Enchanted for the first time (and first Princess cruise in general) in August so it was nice to see some of the dishes and reviews or areas around the ship. Oh, and Yes- that WAS Icon in the picture across St Thomas, it's the only one that has the little arch type thing on the back like that as of now. It sure is a monster!
  5. Doesn't look like he survived... https://nypost.com/2024/05/28/us-news/passenger-dead-after-jumping-off-worlds-largest-cruise-ship/
  6. to book? Yes... you need to input info for everyone who will be on the cruise
  7. Yeah, if I was with a group of people, I don't wanna be drinking out of someone elses cup!! On a side note..... I'm not gonna lie, the cups seem like a pretty big waste of room. I see a lot of people say they never use them, or leave them behind- feels like that would pile up and take a lot of room in the ship trash after a while. Plus who feels like lugging those things around, AND if someone loses one and someone else finds it- the person who finds it now basically has free access to the machine all week. I wonder if somewhere down the line they'd just add card swipes to the machines and activate them with your seapass when you have a package, rather than store and trash all of those cups. We sailed twice last year and already have 4 of them... will be getting 2 more in July... and this time on a ship that can't even use them, We started saving them as souvenirs for the neighborhood kids because we feel bad leaving them or trashing them.
  8. That sucks, I wish they'd offer more than $50 for making you completely change your vacation plans (I know it says they'll cover some flight money too- but I think just inconvenience wise, it's worth a little more than 50 bucks)
  9. I don't think any of the ships have fridges now...but some coolers just work better. I had two rooms on Oasis last year, one cooler got my room temp water chilled to a nice cold bottle. The other time it just barely cooled them down. SO I get the concern for keeping milk, you may as well carry some on if you are able to do so, then when you are in the buffet or around the ship near the cafe, you can still grab a carton here and there to use so you don't have to bring a ton of it on board with you, just some to have for when you aren't out and about.
  10. It ALWAYS shows chance of rain in the Caribbean. Don't worry about that too much, most of the time it's a passing shower or a quick downpour but they rarely last long. And if it does happen a few days, it'll be ok- there is plenty of room and things to do on the ship. The ports won't be closed unless it's really bad, so you'll be able to get off, but again- you worked hard to get this vacation, you will enjoy it, just forget about the forecast and get ready to have fun. We got married in Jamaica years back, it showed "partly cloudy\chance of rain every single day... we were so bummed...it rained for about 5 minutes a day, maybe 2 of the days and that was it. . HAVE FUN!!!!
  11. I don't actually have anything to base it on since I'm booked for the first time in December. BUT the Seascape seems to be the one that actually gets mostly good reviews or more positive then negatives. The ones I see with constant negatives are the Seashore and Seaside. I've read and watched enough blogs, reviews and youtube vids that I feel confident that Seascape will be just fine and looking forward to it!
  12. It is fun... we watched the Eagles win the NFC Championship 2 seasons ago on a ship and some Phillies Playoff games last year on board. It's a lot of fun especially if you have other fans, which IF the Rangers make it, the Meriviglia will be packed with them.
  13. I also get mine at the big table every time- they have them all stacked up for easy pickings. But to label them, maybe some stickers or bands of some sort, like elastic wrist bands of various colors...
  14. Could be the overhang from above, or looking at it and seeing that its a group of rooms on both sides, they may consider the fact that you won't see the water real well from that angle as an obstruction...the "ALLURE OF THE SEAS" sign may be the obstruction
  15. You go to the Lime and Coconut and you can sign up for the one you want. They say to do it the morning of your reservation, but we walked around on day 1, found the one we wanted and went to ask them about how to reserve it for us... he put us down for it right then. When our day rolled around, it was all ready for us with our name on it. We liked having it, but got it for an ok price (and got it for a port day, but we didn't dock until 1pm, so it was like having it most of the day for a sea day at a port day price).
  16. It may have even been before that- they had this weird "national lunch day" or national pasta day...something like that... and the lunch prices were just SO low, I think even lower than they were for Black Friday. I couldn't NOT grab it. Recently there was another good one so I grabbed a Chops lunch for Embarkation day, but just canceled that one because I know the boy just wants Pizza, and since we haven't done Liberty yet, I'll want to stroll around until the room is ready. So Pizza and maybe some WJ for lunch it is!
  17. This is probably EXACTLY what I'll be trying when we go. I'm excited to finally try a specialty spot. ( I don't count Playmakers)
  18. Oh ok, I ddn't even look much into that, so take a little more time and do St George, then bus back to Hamilton for a little stroll before we hop on the ferry?
  19. Yep, we booked it a few months back for lunch when there was some insanely great deal....we are also on Liberty, so looking forward to trying it out!!
  20. @luckyinpa Thank you for these step by step directions, as I think this will be our exact plan when we visit in July. Ferry to Hamilton, bus to Swizzle and stroll through Tom Moores. Then maybe a snack and drink at the Swizzle INN or just bus back to Hamilton for lunch on Front street. And, as silly as it seems, my son will LOVE the gas station- when we did Roatan last year, i think his favorite part was pulling into a local gas station mini-mart and looking at the different drinks and snacks (the armed guards with AK47's out front was a little culture shock for him, as well..lol)
  21. Just wanted to thank you guys for the Tom Moores Jungle info. I had no idea, and now after a few youtube vids, it's the thing my wife REALLY wants to do. SO since the ferry to St George doesn't run when we are there, i guess a ferry to Hamilton then a bus or cab to the Swizzle inn area for a walk around the Tom Moore jungle paths, then we will head back to Hamilton for a stroll through Front street, maybe a late lunch then ferry back to the dockyard to either wander around or go back to the ship. Then the next day after we have our scheduled boat tour, we can do the horseshoe beach area, or just chill around the port and do the mini golf thing.
  22. So wierd....maybe it's ship dependent. I did notice that it wasn't there, then I went out and came back in and it was. So just another case of the app being the app.
  23. There are two Giovannis, they are different. Giovannis Kitchen has pizza, like fancy, bring to your table pizza, nothing like Sorrento's thin, free to eat pizza. The one on Liberty Is Giovannis table, no Pizza.
