I know you asked @smokeybandit, But I have my traditional dining info listed in this area of the app, as well. It shows up right in between "Upcoming reservatons" and "Internet packages"
-
Also...your cruise is almost 2 years away. It may simply just not be allowing you to complete everything because it's so far off.

you can order as early as you want...they aren't going to arrive until a few weeks before each cruise, so you won't have them all over the house

Bigger ships into Port of Baltimore?
Scottdalfonso replied to Williamsburgcruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Yep- it still has a 2nd bridge to clear, so unfortunately, it'll be the same old ships -
Thank you all for this info! @luckyinpa, I really appreciate that info, I had no idea about the little caves and will definitely look into that!!

I had posted a link that led you to a list of shorties from PC, but looks like they deleted it on me, But like other said, there are quite a few there....the prices just went up quite a bit.

Here is a bunch of 3-4 nighters from PC: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruises?search=departurePort:PCN|nights:2~5|startDate:2024-05-01~2024-05-31,2024-06-01~2024-06-30,2024-07-01~2024-07-31,2024-08-01~2024-08-31

Liberty Of The Seas Parties
Scottdalfonso replied to broadwaybaby123's topic in Royal Caribbean International
You have to click on the calendar up top in the app, then at the bottom "change ships\date" then at the bottom again "browse our ships" Then you can pick the ship, then the current or next sailings. -
It's the price.... a lot of people will take a cheaper room to sail more. We did just this, we have three cruises coming up and could only afford that because we did one OV , one interior then the one further out is a balcony. I honestly don't care much if we have a balcony or not, but my wife enjoys it, so we try to get one when we can, but luckily she agrees that cruising more is more important than the balcony!

Following your other thread, as well. We sail Seascape from Miami in December, for our first MSC cruise, but thinking as long as we enjoy that, we would love to book Meraviglia from NJ since that's MUCH easier for us, and the ship looks great. So definitely following along!

Free Wifi promotion - 3rd passenger in room?
Scottdalfonso replied to SnorkelFool's topic in MSC Cruises
We are probably good with two... On other lines, Me and the wife share one and give the kid access to a second one. But it is good to know in case we decide to just make it easy and all have one -
LIVE MSC Meraviglia May 19-26… and (hopefully) reopening of Ocean Cay
Scottdalfonso replied to Notch8's topic in MSC Cruises
Ok, so much like Royal they did away with the paper (unless requested) and have a QR code to the PDF version of the exact same thing. I like that, the apps are nice too, but something about seeing the actual activity\schedule sheets, even in digital form, is a little nicer to me. Plus you can just download each day and have them as a "souvenir" if that's something you like. -
Free Wifi promotion - 3rd passenger in room?
Scottdalfonso replied to SnorkelFool's topic in MSC Cruises
We have three people and are under the impression that we get two devices and will need to purchase a third on board if we wanted a third. -
Thanks! This is the first time I've seen screen shots from the app activities list.

Port fees and Taxes to be included in advertised pricing now?
Scottdalfonso replied to voljeep's topic in Princess Cruises
I'm saying they should be included in the general fare anyway, like virgin and some other lines do- then not only aren't they optional, they also can't be removed. -
Oh wow, don't see it docked this way often.

Now just include gratuities, as well and it will actually be a complete "pay what you see" situation! -
Thank you both...the caves were just something we were gonna throw in, but definitely not a deal breaker. Sounds like either way,we're ferrying over to Hamilton...then a decision on whether we want to cab it over to St George's, or spend some time in Hamilton then hit the beach. Otherwise, we'll save the beach for the 2nd day...we don't need much beach time, it's more just to say we went than anything else. But I think we'll limit what we want to do to these few things spread over the top days so we aren't running all day to get stuff in. I have a feeling this won't be our last time to Bermuda in the next year or two from all the great stuff I hear about it.

Three of us, including our 12 yo son.-Doing 2 days in Bermuda in July, a Saturday\Sunday... we have a glass bottom boat scheduled for Sunday morning. Otherwise, it's all open... here is one of my plans, let me know if it is doable or what I can do to make it a little more realistic.... Get off Saturday morning, take the ferry to St George: Do the Caves (maybe) then Swizzle Inn and ice cream, then we want to do Hamilton and walk around a bit, maybe grab lunch, then Horseshoe bay, then head back to the dock. OR we could just do St George\Hamilton on Saturday and save the beach for Sunday after the boat ride... is it too much to squeeze in to one day? We figured we'd get all that done Saturday when we had all the time, then just stay near the port Sunday after the boat ride, do the mall and maybe bring the kid to that mini golf place near the port. Basically we want to check out St George and the cave area, walk around Hamilton and do Horseshoe beach at some point- what's the best bet and easiest to do transportation wise? Thank you for any help you may have!! This is our first time in Bermuda, we know not to try and do everything, but figured this was a nice mix of stuff without over-doing it
-
That's just a chance you take- just like booking a brand new ship or booking the week after a dry dock is scheduled to be done. There's ALWAYS a possibility of a delay, so always wait a few weeks after a repair or renovation is scheduled to be complete to book.

C&A points splitted, any advices if its fixable ?
Scottdalfonso replied to Rotnam's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I think others have said this, but just to drill it in, make sure your kids have C and A accounts- my 12 year old has a C&A, gets his own points. The 13 year old thing is only for an account to sign on to the app, but any age can get a Crown and Anchor number. -
Not sure how far out they sell that stuff, but it would show up once you sign into the website under "packages" and "Extras" as well as on the app.

New pricing transparency policy...
Scottdalfonso replied to Scottdalfonso's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I never said it was mandatory, I said it should just be included in the price of the fare, Basically raise the price by 126 a person and be done with it, it'd be up to you if you want to give tips on board, but otherwise it's already in your cruise fare -
Thanks!! I will check it out..but I did already buy the water package, will go look at the wine list, though!

New pricing transparency policy...
Scottdalfonso replied to Scottdalfonso's topic in Royal Caribbean International
It will ask you at the VERY end if you want to add them ahead of time. So you won't even see that until you are in the payment phase of the booking. IF you don't select to pay them ahead of time when booking, you can no longer do it online and have to call RC or do it on board at the end of the cruise
