The photo above was Not the photo. I was there. It was a home-made sail boat, made out of Styrofoam, boards, and tarps. The only words I could understand that they were calling out was "ayudame"....."help me" in Spanish. Really quite a remarkable rescue. We watched the Rotterdam Sailors throw out the weighted throw rope three times, and it missed the raft. The third time, one of the refugees jumped into the water to catch the rope and he was able to swim back to the raft and was helped on. Then they had the raft tethered to ship and were able to pull them in to safety.
