  1. I have a similar question but have not received any replies. I sure wish someone familiar with Port Miami would let us know. Is garage B parking exclusive to NCL? Is it possible to park in garage C/lot C and safely walk to Terminal A? I have no interest in paying $35/day for parking in garage A when every other garage/lot is $22/day. I do not believe you have to park in garage A in order to embark from terminal A. There are several other garages/lots to choose from at much lower rates. The question is can you walk back to terminal A in a safe manner? I cruised out of Port Miami twice in 2023...very hectic! If garage B isn't exclusive to NCL, I plan to try there first.
  2. Is Garage B exclusive to NCL? How would NCL know when you enter Garage B if you are embarking from Terminal A? Secondly, is it possible to park in Surface Lot C or Garage C and walk (safely on a sidewalk) to Terminal A?
  3. I'm not paying $35/day to park at Termianl A at PortMiami. Is it possible to park at Terminal B...or is Garage B exclusively for NCL? How about Surface Lot C or Garage C...is it possible (easy) to walk from the C lot/garage to Terminal A? Are there shuttles to and from other lots/garages to Terminal A? I have parked at PortMiami twice this year...once in Garage G and once in Garage C. However, I have never embarked from Terminal A. Can someone familiar with the port please provide feedback. Thanks in advance!
  4. Yep...I noticed the same thing a few days ago on both of our upcoming Icon sailings in '24. They will net the same within a dollar or two. Low blow in my opinion for those that have been checking prices and waiting for the upcoming Black Friday sale. We're strongly considering canceling one if not both of these sailings due to their greed. We'll be on Odyssey Thanksgiving week and pre-purchased the soda package and water. Let the good times roll! 😞
  5. If we only did one cruise a year, it wouldn't matter. It's not that we can't afford it, it's simply the principle. We wouldn't feel good about paying well over $1,000 for drinks every time we go on a cruise. However, we won't enjoy the cruise as much without the DBP. Like I said, Royal Caribbean could lower the price of the DBP and still make a huge profit. In that scenario, everyone wins and we'd likely continue to cruise with Royal Caribbean.
  6. I'd jump on that price in a heartbeat! We have two cruises booked on Icon next year and may cancel both as the price for the DBP has not been reduced below $85.99. I'm not sure how Royal Caribbean wins like that. They could cut the price in half and still make a profit on most people.
  7. When does the Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale usually begin? I've been monitoring beverage prices closely for several months now for our Thanksgiving week cruise. However, the price for the Deluxe Beverage Package has not been reduced below $75.99 on any sale that I have seen so far. For us, $1,075+ for beverages on a six night Thanksgiving week cruise is unacceptable. I'm hoping we'll have another opporutnity to purchase the DBP at a price that makes sense to us prior to our cruise on Nov 19. My understanding is that any pre-cruise purchases such as the DBP need to occur a minimum of 72 hours prior to the cruise. In past years, has there been a Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale that began the week before Thanksgiving week? We need a 35% off sale to make the DBP work for us. What are the odds this happens prior to Thanksgiving week?
  8. After reading this thread, I made MTD reservations for our upcoming cruises on Odyssey (Thanksgiving) and Icon (Spring Break). As has been mentioned by several posters above, the earliest reservation time was 6:45 PM. I was able to secure a variety of times between 6:45 - 7:15 PM. On days where I made a 7:15 PM reservation, could I show up earlier (6:30 - 6:45 PM) and request a table at that time? Also, since I made reservations for two, does that guarantee we'll get a table for two? Having a private table for two is our objective. Otherwise, early dining would probably be a better choice for us.
  9. Thanks kelleherdl! I'll do as you suggest and not worry about it. After hearing from you and others today, I'm feeling much more confident that it will all work out. We're looking forward to our upcoming cruise on Seascape!
  10. Thanks for your reply Two Wheels Only! Check-in as you describe above will certainly work for us! Hey, since you're also in FL, perhaps you can answer another question I have regarding the Embarkation Form. Although I typed and saved our complete address on the MSC website, I noticed that our state (FL) is not included on the Embarkation Form? Is that normal? Everything else (street address, city, zip code, etc) is listed on the form. Thanks again for your feedback!
  11. I have an upcoming cruise on Seascape from PortMiami. This is my first cruise with MSC. Therefore, I'm not familiar with their boarding practices. I noticed that my cruise documents state that check-in time is 15:00. I've never received a boarding time so late before. Will I have to wait to board the ship until 3:00 PM? I was planning to arrive at the port by 10:00 AM or so and board shortly thereafter as I've done on all of my previous cruises with other lines. Will this be possible on MSC?
  12. Thanks B_A_H! I think we should be in good shape and I appreciate your feedback! My passport info is displayed in the same fashion as yours on the MSC USA website. However, the info displayed on the app is more in line with the MSC Italy website. Thanks again!
  13. Thanks for your feedback drsel! It sounds like we're in good shape regarding the e-ticket. My only remaining issue on the e-ticket is our address. For some reason, my State is not showing on the e-ticket. I sure hope our cruise on Seascape goes better than the online registration process. Having recently cruised on Carnival Celebration, I can assure you that the online experience with MSC is a hot mess!
  14. On your e-ticket, in parentheses next to the Passport Date of Issue & Expiry Date, does it state that the information should be recorded as DD/MM/YY? That's what's causing the confusion. Like you, my passport credentials are recorded as MM/DD/YY on both the site and my e-ticket. However, on the e-ticket, it clearly states that the information should be recorded as DD/MM/YY. Hopefully, it will be a non-issue. Thanks for your feedback!
  15. Thank you for your post as I have the same concern. In fact, I posted about this recently in two other threads yet did not receive any feedback from other CC posters. My last post about this topic follows... On page 2 of our Cruise Ticket/Embarkation Form, the Passport Date of Issue & Expiry Date are recorded as MM/DD/YY which is the way the information was requested on the MSC website. However, in parentheses next to the Passport Date of Issue & Expiry Date, it states the information should be recorded as DD/MM/YY. Our cruise is on MSC Seascape from Port of Miami. Can someone in the US let me know how this information is recorded on your Cruise Ticket/Embarkation Form? We'd hate to be denied boarding due to a technical error. I will continue to follow this thread for clarification. Thanks!

  17. I printed our Cruise Ticket and noticed another issue with the Passport Issue & Expiry dates. When asked for the data on the Web Check-In page, they required the following format...MM/DD/YY. The data is displayed that way on our Cruise Ticket. However, on the Cruise Ticket, it states the format should be DD/MM/YY which would make what is stated on our form incorrect. I'm trying not to overthink this but it seems like basic stuff that a big outfit like MSC should be able to get right. Just pick a format and I'll record the information per your requirements. Thanks to those who have already provided feedback. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this issue as well.
  18. I was able to upload our security photos yesterday. However, I am having an issue with the passport data that I enter on the Web Check-In page. The information that I enter and save on the Web Check-In page is correct. However, on the Cruise Details/Passengers Data tab, it is incorrect. It appears the their system is moving the issue/expiration dates up by one day. I tried to update the information on the Passengers Data page to mirror the correct information on the Web Check-In page. However, even after saving the correct infomation, it still won't display correctly on that page. Some things just have to be right! Also, I've been unable to register a credit card. Are others having similar issues?
