I've read conflicting info. For the entire voyage package, some say it's cheaper to buy onboard while others say it's cheaper to buy before embarking. I wish we knew for certain. Any chance that there will be Black Friday/Boxing Day sales on spa passes? Thanks

Any ideas on when the 2025 summer trips from Vancouver will released? Thanks

My understanding is that I can buy the internet package now but can cancel without penalty up to 3 days before departure. Is that correct? Thanks

Hi, new to cruising and trying to understand when I should buy trip cancellation/interruption insurance for my July 2024 trip if the deposit is refundable. Does it make sense to buy it only when I make final payment? Looking for insurance to cancel for any reason in particular as parents are elderly. Also, I've read that it's always cheaper to buy such insurance from external party instead of through the cruise line. Any advice on this would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, new to Cunard so please bear with the basic questions. Can I ask for a refund for the wifi voyage purchase if I change my mind later? Also, where can I find a quote for 1 plan with 2 devices? I've heard that, on other lines, the discount can be about 20% compared to buying 2 plans with 1 device each (this is assuming it's same speed for both options?) Thanks!

Thanks very much David. This is very helpful. Does this mean that the ocean might be rough on the way to Victoria? Thanks

Thanks so much Marion B. I was worried that I had to cancel and disappoint the family. I appreciate the advice!

Please help! I think I made have made a mistake and booked the Q423 QE 10-day trip to Alaska in July 2024 without realizing that it's the outside passage. As you can tell, I'm not familiar with Alaska (nor cruising). I do tend to get motion sickness but was ok with taking my first cruise to Alaska last year on Celebrity in the inside passage. I took the non-drowsy anti nausea pill every day and was fine. I am so excited to cruise Cunard next and booked this cruise below without realizing that it's may be on the outside passage where I hear that the waves are much rougher. Could you please advise if this is the outside passage and if the ocean may not be calm? Thanks very much https://www.cunard.com/en-us/find-a-cruise/Q423/Q423

Hi, have never cruised with Cunard before so I was just wondering if it's cheaper to buy (premium) wifi before trip or wait until I'm on board? I was thinking of buying for the entire 10 day QE Alaska trip next summer. Also, are there online sales I should keep my eyes out for (eg Celebrity has 35% off wifi package once in a while)? Thanks

Sorry if this has been asked before but I've been reading conflicting info. Am considering an Alaska trip next summer on QE. 1. Is there a discount to buy the 2 hour pass for the whole trip (or multi day)? 2. Is it cheaper to buy the pass online prior to boarding or should I wait until I board? 3. Are there sales (like on other cruise lines) once in a while that I should keep my eyes out for spa passes? 4. If I purchase online prior to trip, is it fully refundable if I change my mind before the trip starts? 5. Does it make sense to buy online now so that I don't lose out on booking popular times? Thanks very much

Question on docking locations at Alaska ports
newbie202020 replied to newbie202020's topic in Cunard Line
Thanks for replying. The ports are Ketchikan, Endicott Arm, Juneau, Skagway, Wrangell and Victoria -
Hi, I'm new to cruising and Cunard so please bear with me if I'm not using the right terminology. Was thinking of the 10 day cruise out of Vancouver to Alaska. Traveling with seniors with limited mobility (wheelchair). Are the docking locations for the QE far from shops/downtown? I don't know if my elderly parents would want to wait or travel by shuttle at each port. I heard that the bigger cruise lines may have preferable docking locations. Thanks for your input.

TV question for anyone who has been on the Eclipse lately
newbie202020 replied to CruisinShips's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I read that Eclipse on Alaska route has very poor internet connection even with premium wifi. Has that been your experience? -
Thanks for the detailed review. I will be on the Eclipse in a few days with same itinerary. Was the embarkation process smooth? I heard that Vancouver port embarkation can involve a lot of walking and I am trying to minimize that as I am traveling with seniors. Do you have any tips like stuff you wished you packed, etc? I'm hoping that we don't have to wait long for MDR. We're anytime dining and waitlisted for early dining. Thanks

Premium Wi-Fi 1 Device * 2 vs. Premium Wi-Fi 2 Devices
newbie202020 replied to GreenDice's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Hi, newbie to Celebrity here so please bear with basic questions on this. 1. If I were to buy Premium wifi 2 devices, does this mean that 2 smart phones (with 2 separate phone numbers obviously) can be connected to wifi at the same time? 2. With the premium wifi 2 devices, am I sharing bandwidth between the 2 devices? If so, then it might be better to buy premium wifi 1 device times 2? Thanks -
Thanks very much. I'll be taking a taxi in. Is there a specific address/instructions I should give to the taxi driver to take me to the underground area instead of dropping me off at ground level? Thanks
