  1. Disclaimer, we don't look for little issues. We had no complaints with our stateroom condition. Everything worked, shut, flushed, drained and closed as they should. The mattress is firm. Just the way we like them. The bed was by the balcony. The couch was a standard size so getting to the closet was a little tight. A love seat would have worked better. The balcony rail could have used some stain and varnish. But no way didn't that take away from the balcony experience. This was our third time on the Eclipse. First for 2023.
  2. Exactly our experiences. Usually more, but that's on the airlines, not me.
  3. If you don't have the CBP or the PBP the Elite style breakfast is great for Bloody Marys, Mimosas, and Bellinis. And for those that like specialty coffees.
  4. We prefer the MDR for breakfast over the Elite breakfast and especially over the OVC.
  5. We were on the Eclipse for a Pacific Coastal cruise on 8 October and we had no complaints with the condition of the ship. Bummer she hasn't revolutionized as we like that new look, especially in the staterooms.
  6. Agree. Since this a Celebrity forum. I thought the same thing when I read @Flatbush Flyer post #7 saying "... is a violation of most cruise lines’ alcohol policy".
  7. Agree. Disagree. You are allowed to carry a glass of wine around with you and take into the dining venues or bars that you poured from the bottle you brought onboard. Doing this isn't a violation with Celebrity.
  8. You selected a check in time, not a boarding time.
  9. OOOOOOPS! It's late and I'm tired from doing yardwork all day. At least that's my excuse for misreading and I'm sticking to it. Sorry @binro01. You can on the first evening.
  10. Great info. I learn something new everyday on CC. Sometimes even great positive info. Thanks.
  11. A great example why I never pay attention to someone's opinion, positive or negative. 🙃
  12. Enjoy your Celebrity cruise. There are some Elite perks/benefits that are nice. No dedicated lounge like the DL/CL. Bummer! The Beyond is an E (Edge) class ship. We like the layout.
  13. They (you) can. I wear golf/polo style shirts with dockers every evening (as recent as our 8 October Pacific Coastal cruise on the Eclipse) in the MDR since chic evenings were introduced in 2016.
  14. Agree with all of what @Ourusualbeach has said. We just booked two RC cruises as a B2B while on Celebrity's Eclipse (8 October). $100.00 deposit per person, per cruise (leg). $400.00 total. Received $100.00 OBC per cruise (leg). When I got home I found a TA I decided to transfer the bookings to. The TA got us in a group rate (price reduction of $1,175.00) with additional OBC from the TA. Plus we received a couple of gifts from Celebrity for booking the first day of the cruise. We've done this before and knew what to expect. I always do my homework before booking, no matter with who I book with. I use that as my check list when booking.
  15. FWIW, I was told this past Saturday by the shoreside CAS that it will very from ship to ship, and is based on D+ and P numbers (cutoff, I didn't think to ask) for that specific cruise before the sail date. We would hate the assumption @grapau27 came up with! I also believe anyone concerned about this should contact the CAS and voice their concerns. Sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease and other times...
  16. It's based on numbers of D+ and Ps. The decision is made prior to the cruise. I totally disagree with this. Just because the numbers are high doesn't mean the CL is going to to packed during the HH. It should be first come first serve. No matter if you are D, D+ or P. The CL concierge can monitor (crowd control) the numbers going in and out of the lounge.
  17. We were on the 8 October Pacific Coastal cruise. We had the CBP and no more cans of water (Rain). Plastic bottles (Crystal Glacier). 👍
  18. We are vey punctual people. Since we always request a two top, we just might be 15 fashionable minutes late each evening on our next cruises.
  19. I wish you would, especially after being a Loyal Royal for 20 + years. But understand your decision.
