We'll be back on the Eclipse 8 October doing a Pacific Coastal cruise. We like the itinerary (done similar with RC and Celebrity) and ship.

Agree. Exactly what we do. We'll be on the Enchanted March 2024 and have already reserved our MDR (Amalfi dining room) and time. (6:PM). When we first board we'll check in at our muster station then head to the MDR to request a two top in a location we like and confirm our dining reservations. Which MDR did you select?

Agree. We would never book or not book a cruise line, ship, itinerary etc. based on others positive or negative opinions or experiences. I enjoy reading them and respect everyone's right to their opinion. Our first cruise was in 1991, and 4 cruises before joining CC in 2001.

I'd more concerned with the possible noise from the Sky Lounge at night.

We were on the Apex in March. Made reservations pre cruise in my CP for SD/ATD for 6:PM, every evening in the Cosmopolitan restaurant. Once on board and after dropping off our carry on(s), checking in at our muster station we went to the Cosmopolitan restaurant to verify our reservations after finding a two top in a location we liked. We were told reservations were not being honored. We were then told as long as we showed up by 6:PM we would have the same table each evening. We did, never had to wait and had the same table every evening. I guess an unofficial standing reservation.

We'll be on the Eclipse in October. By then the so called vaping in the casino trial period would have run it's course. If vaping in the casino is going to be allowed going forward I plan on doing what I posted #18. Way to kill some time on our only boring sea day.

Request to speak with the hotel director and with the CC concierge about it. Also bring it up to the Captain during the Q&A part of his/her presentation/talk.

Just show the bar tenders or server your Seapass card. Doesn't hurt to mention you'll be ordering from the CC HH beverage menu. You'll need to order your drinks from the CC beverage menu. Yes, including the Martini Bar. Not all bars. World Class Bar, Craft Social and dining venues are excluded from the CC HH drinks. You'll receive a Elite perks/benefits sheet in your stateroom.

No argument. We were practicing the same precautions long before covid. Me (us) either. We didn't and still don't live in a bubble and only wore a mask when it was made mandatory no matter what we were doing, where we were going or how we were traveling. We still haven't had covid. We never wore a mask pre covid or during covid (unless forced to) and not starting now because others are coughing, sneezing, etc. Tapping out. Sorry @What A Market for going sideways on your cruise. Glad you have taken us along. 🍷

Sounds like most common cold symptoms. Unless it's a covid breakout and mandated by the ship, no way.

Why would they?

The CC Elite HH is from 5 to 7:PM at most bars. No CC HH on the first evening (embarkation). No dedicated lounge like the DL. The CC HH drinks are from a limited beverage menu. You will have a full list of CC benefits/perks left in your stateroom (just like the CAS does). All dining venues are excluded from the CC HH.

Now you can email the executive office, again and on your PCS with your first hand experiences with this poor decision. Enjoy your cruise. Bon Voyage. 🥂

They did. No inside smoking or vaping. Only outside in designated areas. It worked and nothing wrong with those restrictions. All changed because of Laura Hodges Bethge. 🤢
