If no one else is in the pool, maybe you can swim underwater but unless the weather is poor the pools get very busy and there isn’t room for actual swimming
probably Captain Hook and Mr Smee, also likely Captain Jack, depending on performers onboard and barring illness.
possibly also the sensational six (and chip and dale) in pirate gear
The salt scrub isn't much of a massage (if it's similar to ones I've had at land-based spas) it's an exfoliating scrub so they can't massage too hard or they scrub your skin off. You'll feel smooth and soft after the scrub but not relaxed muscle-y like after a regular massage. Also as they scrub off dead skin they may not be able to do the service if you have any sunburn as it would be too abrasive.
Looking forward to the rest of this review! I have used your Venezia review to get excited for our first Carnival cruise on the Firenze in November. Thinking about an East Coast cruise possibly with the kids in 25 or 26.
working at a land based restaurant where tips aren't added on the every drink and working on a cruise ship that adds an 18% gratuity to each drink ordered is very different. Of course land based servers who get nothing a a one drink order are not happy. the difference is that the bard enters on ships got their 18% on the drink already so anything on top is a happy extra.
This is literally my worst nightmare... I'm always afraid someone is reading over my shoulder. I have a privacy screen for when I'm reading on my phone, now I think I need one for reading on my kindle!!🫣
We didn't cruise on Carnival to Alaska, we have only cruised Disney but we have done this tour for whale watching in Juneau with and without kids and it was amazing each time:https://www.stepintoalaska.com/excursions/alaskas-whales-glaciers-rainforest-trails/
Also if you are checking bags the last time I flew into Orlando the baggage carousel they sent out bags to was broken and it took and hour and a half after landing to get our bags.
