  1. Check New Zealand government website for accurate and up to date info.
  2. Living your blog and especially the food photos! You said in an earlier post that you bought some gin in the duty free shop. Do they hold it for you until you disembark? Or can you take it to your cabin? Thanks ☺️
  3. Hi - really enjoying your blog! I’ve booked my first P&O cruise for next year. I’ve read a couple of times that your wife doesn’t eat whilst you are off the ship. Is there no room service? Or do you just not use it and prefer to eat in the restaurants? Thanks ☺️
  4. I’ve often found that buying a 2 device WiFi package for 1 person (which 2 people can use) is cheaper than buying 2 x 1 device package.
  5. From the FAQ: Q: What if the early arrival window is not available when I check-in? A: Look for signs with the Premium Access logo for priority boarding and proceed through the check-in process. Q: If early access is not available, does Premium Access include priority boarding? A: Yes, look for signs with the Premium Access logo for priority boarding
  6. Also worth noting if you like to take your own sauce on board or buy some to take home and transit through New Zealand:
  7. From the NZ government website; Honey is a high biosecurity risk for New Zealand. It can bring in harmful pests and diseases that can affect our bee populations. If in doubt, do not bring honey.
  8. I have never had wine confiscated when boarding at a port. Never hidden it. Would have been happy to surrender until the last evening, as bought to bring home, but it’s just been waved through. Experience of this in European and US ports with scanners staffed by the terminal and also Celenrity.
  9. Celebrity have, in the past couple of days, fixed the glitch where it allowed only 1 person per cabin to purchase. When I purchased the passes months ago, it permitted 1 per cabin, and they hadn’t yet published the full details which now state each person has to purchase.
  10. Thanks.☺️ And premium WiFi for 2 devices works ok?
  11. How did it go? Any issues with only 1 purchased per cabin?
  12. I’d go ahead and book the Premium Pass whilst it is available. Especially since you now don’t have the premium WiFi. Plenty of us have purchased for just 1 person.
  13. I realise you’re probably busy packing for your cruise, or perhaps already on your way, but I was wondering if you got any feedback from the Celebrity rep? If you get a chance tomorrow could you take photos of the premium access signed at the terminal please? Thanks and enjoy your cruise 😊
  14. That’s with the discount. Full price shown below:
  15. In cruise planner. Think I saw it in the wifi section, but was also listed under packages maybe.
  16. Thanks for posting this - I didn’t realise you could cancel and rebook. I’ll call tomorrow.
  17. My husband is being ditched! I’ll be on that ship and in my cabin at 11:30am 😂 And whilst I’m having the sit down lunch he can fight his way through the buffet 🤣
  18. I am in the same boat - only booked 1 as it gave premium WiFi for 2 devices. Not sailing until end of May. i noticed in the newly published FAQ that all travellers in the same cabin are meant to purchase the pass, but, when I purchased, it was permitted for 1 person only. I suspect Celebrity have realised their mistake and have tightened up on it now. Please report back after your sailing. 😊
  19. It was in the planner under Wi-Fi for me, but sold out quickly and no longer showing for any of my cruises. Keep an eye out in case they make more available.
  20. The only one we did via Celebrity was Florence from Livorno (which you’re not stopping at). At Villefranche you can visit the town itself (small but lovely for a stroll around); take the HOHO bus to Nice: local bus or train to Nice or Monaco. Ajaccio has a couple of tourist buses which do a tour of the island and you can just turn up and pay on the day. Haven’t been to Cagliari. Valletta is a lovely city and you can walk around yourself. Visited Messina previously and did a Godfather tour via a local provider. In Naples you can take the train to Pompei or Herculaneum and get a guided tour at the sites, or take a ferry to Capri or Sorrento, or take the HOHO bus from the cruise terminal, or the metro to the main sites (I love Naples 😍).
  21. I don’t know as I was charged £. You’d need to check the exchange rate. I’m not sure if the pricing is agile.
  22. Did a very similar cruise on Reflection last year. Lots of places to visit at each port. Would go back again!
  23. Only a limited number are available per cruise. They sold out pretty quickly as they were such a good deal! Cheaper than upgrading 2 devices to premium devices in some cases. Price varied. For an 11 night cruise where I already had all included it cost £110. For another cruise booked cruise only, it was £223.
  24. Received this email today. No idea why it’s been changed so soon after it was launched?? Some extra benefits listed in the FAQ eg priority luggage delivery and staterooms ready at 11:30am. The Celebrity Pass (Xpass) you purchased for your sailing will be renamed to Premium Access℠ beginning February 12th, 2024. Rest assured, the name is the only change made to this product and you’ll still enjoy all the same services and amenities you purchased under the previous product name. Here’s what’s included with Premium Access: Premium Wi-Fi for two devices. Complimentary room service, unlimited (waived delivery fee & gratuities). Early access at the terminal. Priority luggage delivery to staterooms. Welcome lunch in the main dining room served from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm; be sure to select an early boarding time. Priority departure from ship to shore in ports that require tender service. Reserved seating at shows in The Theatre. Express luggage service in the terminal when debarking.
