  1. I have brought onboard wine and liquors from various ports around the world. Never been an issue. I would have been quite happy to turn it in until the end of cruise, but this was never requested of me.
  2. No Eurovision 😱 Nil points to Celebrity! 😝 Waiting patiently to see if ABBA will feature in the final as it’s the 50th anniversary of Waterloo 😍
  3. My husband recently reached out to ask if he could take his Sgian Dubh onboard as it’s part of his kilt outfit. He has a plastic bladed one which can be used for travel. A photo of it was supplied. The request was passed on to the security officer onboard Millenium who replied with an emphatic NO! You’d be hard pressed to cut through butter with the plastic bladed sgian dubh as it’s purely for decoration, but it’s still not allowed.
  4. Thank you so much for your great review. I’ve enjoyed learning some new Japanese words 😁
  5. Looking forward to your review - I hope the Queen enjoys it too! That’s some renovation you’re doing - it looks like you are completely rebuilding the house!! 😨 I can see why you need a holiday. 🥰
  6. We have the Hyatt booked for a night post cruise in October. Glad to hear it’s walkable! 😊
  7. I’ve just checked my booking again, as I knew I had seen somewhere that the questionnaire must have been received. It’s in itinerary- the evacuation chair request is noted. Worth checking if this is noted for any future cruises.
  8. I’m sorry too - what a stressful experience. For those in a similar situation, as Megabear2 has said, there is a questionnaire on the website now. Log in to your booking, select Before you sail, then scroll across to Onboard needs. The website states: This form should be completed by all guests who: May require assistance with embarkation, disembarkation, or in an unlikely case of emergency evacuation Have any medical needs that may require special accommodation Will be bringing medical equipment or mobility devices on board Have been advised by their travel insurance or doctor to declare their needs to us
  9. Looking forward to your review. We are sailing in October on the same cruise 😊
  10. We did it in LA as it was cheaper than an Uber direct to the airport! Saw a bit of the city and didn’t have to worry about what to do with our luggage for the day. Our suitcases were in the hold of the bus, and we left jackets and bigger backpacks on our seats at each stop. Took passports etc with us at each stop. Would do again without hesitation.
  11. In my opinion (being a European), I would say people dress more for dinner, and are a bit smarter in the evenings.
  12. Here’s a link to the form https://cloud.na.celebritycruises.com/GOGREEN_OPTIN
  13. This is exactly why I bought it. It was cheaper than the premium wifi upgrade for 2 people.
  14. On my xpress pass for an upcoming cruise, there is a key symbol shown. I have purchased Premium Access, so I’m assuming this is the symbol for it. I know someone else on the cruise who didn’t purchase the premium access, and they have no key symbol. Happy to be corrected!
  15. Attached shows what we managed to fit into a bag last year.
  16. Hi - did you use a UK contact? Not sure there is one, but I have an issue with my husband’s tier not showing correctly on his express pass .Thanks
  17. A nice gesture. And I think the wording hits the right tone. However….. I do think that the same OBC should be offered to everyone regardless of cabin. Everyone has had the same inconvenience and disappointment whether in an inside room or top suite. Just my thoughts!
  18. Safe travel home to you both. I’ve just watched a tv programme about the Nusfjord arctic resort - wow it looks stunning! I need to go to Norway 😊
  19. This is a town in Wales. Absolutely no idea how to pronounce it 😊“Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
  20. It’s Iain not Lain. Scottish Gaelic version of John. Anglicised version of the name is Ian. 😊
