We have 2 gty bookings coming up. The first is in a suite and it was assigned at the booking. Liked the location and am keeping it. The second gty booking is for a transpacific crossing next year. We were lucky to get an AQ gty because that category is sold out. No room assigned yet. (Booked 2 mths ago.). We are just happy to be doing that cruise. The only other time we booked a gty room was 25 plus years ago and we had a nice cabin. Usually we pick the cabin and location ourselves.

I sent my passports in for renewal in regular mail and no rush charge because they are due next December and are needed in May, September and October. With the horror stories on line about the wait times, I gave it 6 months. I mailed them in on Nov 30th and got them December 14th. Two weeks!! I was amazed.

I have been trying for the last 2 days to get my account fixed. We leave in a week. At the moment, my owed balance is $99. Friday it was $1324. It does not help that my flights needed to be rebooked on Friday due to American dropping one of my flights. OK I will be on the phone again today. Friday's phone time...3 and a half hours. I will need a vacation just to fix these problems! FYI at the end of Friday's debacle, my requested invoice showed $0 balance again.

Cruisestitch Loved your last thread. Thanks for the reporting. We leave in a few weeks for a TA crossing on the Constellation. We are very worried about the food quality. This is our 4th cruise in the last year (second TA crossing). On each cruise we are noticing cutbacks. We always book another on board but this time, we will not. We are watching to see if Celebrity will reverse any of their decisions made post covid. We cruise in Aqua class and are also seeing the food quality problems plus other changes. On our last crossing, the entertainment and bands were poor. The only saving grace was a comedian from England, Jayne something. Please let us know how are the bands/entertainments are. Thanks again.

What cruise?

Interesting email I just received from Celebrity. Anyone else get it.

My one cruise in November has the 40% off, but the May and Oct 2024 cruises...no. No email but checked all.

Thought I bring this response over from another group. Interesting... Just disembarked the Millennium in Vancouver. Here is our experience. We were traveling with another couple. We got the bid up to a Royal suite. We had an amazing week, the butler treated us like royalty, the Luminae food and staff were beyond our expectations and the retreat lounge was just the perfect touch. The staff for retreat in all areas were absolutely amazing! Our friends in the sky suite did not have the same experience, Even though they also loved Luminae and Retreat Lounge their over all experience was not as good. The head butler was only visible on day one and afterwards only as a name. He was never to be seen again. The host delivered one request, she delivered coffee and filled the ice bucket each day. They ask her to bring a blanket to the room, that never happened. Another good example happened this morning. There was no room regular room service. I asked our butler if we could still get coffee and he answered absolutely!! Our friends asked and the host replied “you get it yourself”. Which was her response to all of their request except the ice and coffee. So as for a “retreat team” that’s in name sake only so they can advertise a butler. Makes me sad! We will probably never cruise Celebrity again. The cost for sky suites and above going forward are outrageous and the sky suite does not give you a true retreat experience as advertised. As for us, our week was magical! ❤️ Happy Sailing!

Did an Alaska cruise at this time, a few years back. Weather was fantastic!

We have been in AQ twice so far this year. The water is the canned stuff.
