Thanks for the heads up. We are on Air Canada this time. We don’t know what we are being fed in the trip down as we couldn’t preselect. In row 2 we should still have options.🤞 On the flight home we have already preselected our meal.

Yes we will. For those not in the know, which should be all of you, we are staying at the same hotel as @Lovetocruise2002 in Miami. We have yet to stay at the same hotel in Miami twice, because we have not found the right one yet for us. This is their go to hotel so we are giving this location a go. We have stayed at different Intercontinental locations but tonight it will be in Miami, on Chopin Plaza. If we like it, we will play it again. (sorry for the groaner😉) We booked with points so the price is right. Can’t remember the type of room and view but we will find out soon enough. Our airport room was on points as well. We’ll look at us saving money. We also get free lunch on the flight, that’s what I tell myself. 😂 On a side note, I think that’s RC HQ in the background.

We will. You won’t catch me leaving ducks randomly about, but folks on my roll call will be.😉🤨

Poor Lucy already has Grandma Sharon wrapped around her finger. Her normal after dinner snacks will be arriving around 9am every morning, when she gets her water and food topped up. She’ll be giving this look in the morning for the next week.

We fly tomorrow to Miami and we board the ship Sunday. We are already at our preflight hotel in Toronto. As for our cruise ports, they are the safest in the islands. If you asked us years ago if Jamaica could be our safest port I wouldn’t have taken that bet. Our itinerary is subject to change.😉 Honestly, CoCo Cay should be the safest. Well, except for the mind numbing and soul destroying island theme song. I’ve finally gotten it out of my head from our last visit in July. The bet the song will be earwormed into my skull before we get off the pier Tuesday morning.

Even the islands with great wealth have poverty. Barbados is a prime example. We chartered a power boat and cruised up the “Gold Coast” of the island where the wealthy and famous of the world stay. Justin Beiber stayed in this home for $225,000 a week. This is Simon Cowell’s simple place. Between these two were places, there were even more luxurious homes. This is a person’s home, not a resort. You also found shacks and buildings between the enclaves that were falling down like the photo below. Even on the richest islands, poverty is a reality.

In 2016 they went to DR by chopper. We watched this chopper land and take a teen who had a compound fracture from a fall the day previous. From there he was transferred by plane to Miami.

You beat me to it. I agree. The locals also benefit greatly from having RC stopping. IMO the Labadee “Crime bosses” would do their best to protect their part of Haiti from the criminals from afar. RC will never return if there is a violent situation.

She can thank that bridge structure for saving her life with how it pinned the trailer. Next the firefighter, and most importantly the kingpin that holds the truck to the trailer. Had that released she and the truck would have been long gone with the trailer remaining. Time to thank the lord and buy a lotto ticket.

It looks like you and the girls had an amazing time and Tao took great care of you. I’m happy to think that my reviews gave some inspiration to celebrate on a cruise. I could not think of a better way to celebrate a bachelorette party. Our first cruise was our honeymoon, 20 years ago, and we were hooked. That makes me I wonder, when Landon will be attaching himself to your C&A account to climb the C&A ladder. He gets a great wife and loyalty rewards to boot; he gives a Diamond to become Diamond. 😀 If you need a distraction, as you count down the days to your wedding, next Sunday we board Oasis with Genie perks.
