That would be completely reasonable. Taking time to eat is not a problem. It’s the folks who leave in the early morning and don’t return until the afternoon that really annoy me.

Oh, I’m quite familiar with “underwear”. It’s what my DH wears. I just was confused by “under ware”. Thought perhaps they meant to say Under Armour, which is the brand of workout attire I personally wear. Lots of terms for undergarments for both men and women, including the ones you mentioned. Thank you for taking the time to list so many!

Exactly why we bring our own! Princess bath and hair products are dreadful! At home I would never use the same container. When the product is gone, the container is gone, too.

You are so right! My CVP could indeed be wrong. However, for me it’s a moot point, as I immediately booked two more sailings. -
I’m old, too, but obsessed with high quality body wash. I hate that the bar of soap travels all over your body, then sits in a goopy mess until you pick it up to use the next time you shower. I like new, unused body wash each and every time. There are some wonderful ones out there! Pricey, but worth every penny.

The expiry date shown is December 31, 2024. However, my CVP says that you just need to book before that date, not to sail. And, you can cancel that before final payment, and still apply the FCC to the one after. She said there are ways to get it extended. I went ahead a booked two more sailings, one completely covered by FCC and some left over for the second one. -

Totally agree! That is one of the reasons we take all of our own bath and hair products. If we’re staying a few pre cruise days in a nice embarkation port, I like to purchase these items from their stores, which carry lovely soaps and personal care products instead of bringing them from home.

I’ll bet you have Avon bath products! They’re actually quite nice.

You wouldn’t want to use liquid soap in the shower. You need good quality body wash, not the kind they sell at Walmart. I’m sure Princess bulk purchases the absolute cheapest hand soap, both bar and liquid, and body wash that’s available. Probably equivalent to what you use to wash your car. lol May I suggest Beekman or L’occitane.

I thought for a moment she meant Under Armour! They make fabulous active wear. My DH wears underwear. We don’t often use that word for women’s undergarments. 😉

My CVP sent me the link to AON. If you’re requesting a cash refund, there is a process for that and another for requesting FCC. Basically, one click and you’re done. Received an immediate response acknowledging my request. Took less than two minutes. -

Yes, I use the poof when available but not adverse to using a hand lather. This post seems to be heading into dangerous territory, so I will just leave it at that. 😜

Yes, you do need to exercise moderation with body wash! lol. A little bit of the good kind goes a long way. In fact, I get much a more luxurious lather with my body wash. TMI? lol

We’re boomers and we really dislike any bar soap. It gets all slimy and slick and the guck sticks to the soap dish or counter top. Also, my arthritic hands have difficulty gripping the wet bar. We buy good quality liquid soap and body wash. Each pump is fresh and clean and no goop! To each their own!

Dislike bar soap and the liquid soap provided by Princess. We bring our own soap, shampoo/conditioner and body wash.
