  1. Just spoke with my cruise consultant. She says she can’t see the California promotion offer but knows it is advertised. She sent a chat to her supervisor who is researching the issue. She states she isn’t the only consultant asking the questions. Hopefully answers soon.
  2. I saw this too, wanted to book the Royal out of San Francisco. The prices were very good. Website still showing “not available”. for many cruises, no new email this am yet.
  3. Agree Acadia National Park
  4. I’ve seen that and wondered if they are ride share drivers.
  5. Also does anyone have experience with go Fundy tours? Or Freedom torus? Road to sea private tours?
  6. Can you post the information you found?
  7. Is it easy to rent a car here? How close is a rental car location from the port? Thanks
  8. What ship? What are the ports for Berlin and Paris? Aren’t both far from the ports?
  9. Agree, let’s stay on topic and respect the forum rules so that those that need the information have access to it. The red banner at the top of each page explains the forum rules with regard to CoVID discussions. Too many threads are locked due to off topic discussions, as well as, those which break the CoVID discussion rules.
  10. Agree with @msmoger change them already. NCL has. Don’t know if people are booking them. Will send my PVP an email. Like that will work! LOL
  11. 2023: NCL,has already removed the Getaway from Northern Europe all together. The smaller Dawn will sail some Baltic itineraries and the Prima(new ship) is also in the Northern Europe. Their Baltic itineraries are not consistent with confusing gaps throughout the season. There is more of a shift to British Isles, Greenland, Iceland. We are on Sky Princess to Norway in August, and we’re hoping to hook up with a second Baltic cruise, but having trouble finding one. NCL Getaway offered a cruise a few days after our Sky trip, but it’s been scrapped now.
  12. Europe does plan to launch a visa program in 2023, staring in May. Although Europe is adamant its’s not a visa. Perhaps that information is causing some confusion. https://www.godsavethepoints.com/europe-etias-visitor-fee-for-2023/
  13. Don’t the cruise lines have reserved seats and fares? I seemed to Remember reading/hearing this, but don’t really know. Even before All this mess, airfare almost always went up dramatically at less or about 45 days out. Hard to believe cruise lines or other travel entires gamble on increasing fares. Never done it as well as I don’t want anyone else in my reservations, or have to wait until shortly before travel when tickets are issued. Also travel a great deal work and pleasure,.
  14. So sorry this happened to you. @firsttimer2009is correct maybe try one of the vacation rental sites for a condo. You could even fly to a second island, depending on how much time you have in the islands. Good luck
  15. This is the situation on many of the jewel ships now. Not sure which ones still have the the spinnaker lounge.. The star does not, as noted above.
  16. Yep, wait to see what the alternatives will be. Maybe more of Greenland/Iceland. As someone said it may get crowed around that area.
  17. @prunderwsomething Isn’t right. 2023: Still looking at options, but nothing booked. Took a look at Princes and RCL as well for 2023, and their website still shows Baltic cruises including St.Petersburg.
  18. @ChC I guess I wasn’t clear. My post was meant to be sarcastic. But I really like your comments. We feel the same way, which led to our decision to cancel for 2022. Was hoping something might be offered for 2023, but maybe not. It looks like was is offered may eventually be canceled as well. I agree it could be many years before some of these itineraries return, and who knows when St.Petersburg will return.
  19. We are Kaiser members as well. I am hoping this is a dot phase letter in Healthconect as it seems to cover most questions. Thanks for sharing. Just in case…we need it.
  20. @casofilia agree my interpretation is that the Dawn is still sailing in 2022, but minus St.Pertersburg. I also see how the letter could be be confusing. Other threads and FB postings report her Transatlantic crossing has numerous CoVID cases and that she skipped Amsterdam and Le Havre, but heading for Southampton now. I also saw the 2023 St. Petersburg port of call and spoke with my PCC about it last week, asking when the port may be dropped and changes made. She didn't know. I think the July cruises were the only time the Dawn was offering trips in the Baltic in 2023. The Getaway was covering the other few months. Now it appears for 2023, those itineraries for both ships are canceled. It does seem odd that “the escalated situation between Russia and Ukraine” is an issue for 2023, but not so much for 2022. Hmmmmm.
  21. @julig22 yep, I agree, either way, communication not clear.
  22. Wait, isnt @casofilia referring to 2023? But I agree with you, it seems like the cruises could and maybe should be cancelled. We cancelled in early February.
  23. This is my understanding as well. Passing through to another country in your situation applies to transit in a sterile environment at an airport. You never leave the area and proceed to your next flight. You should check with the Canadian Government’s website. Agree that Princess waiver doesn’t make a difference. You need to find out before you go, and the sooner the better.
  24. Try the roll call. Are your parents on this cruise? FB may also have a group.
