  1. Azamara’s new platform is the same one that Explora uses, along with several other cruise lines. I’m sure that once the bugs are fixed, everyone will be able to view current availability.
  2. That’s what TAs do! It takes at most 5 minutes. If your TA can’t find time for that you need a new TA Give the change over some time.
  3. If you don’t already have one, find a TA that works with airline consolidators. Maybe consider a different airport to fly from, like MIA. Maybe not as convenient to get to, but you may find more airline choices. We live in Tucson, and travel to LAX to fly to Europe because there’s more choice and better prices

Congratulations on reaching Discoverer! The phones are very busy for everyone right now. Since free night rates are figured off full rack rate and not sales, unless the cruise you’re looking at has low availability, think about waiting a couple more weeks, until the transition is farther along.

Do you have a payment to be made? If so that can be done online. If it’s urgent, has your TA contacted their BDM?
  6. Not quite sure how they will resolve the numbers going forward. Our brand new booking shows a new member number. Not concerned as it will all be resolved in time

I just got an email that they are now working on those cruises up to 120 days out. Are you working with a TA? They can confirm with Azamara that everything is good even if you can’t.

Working on adding a new email. It’s just going to take time
  10. You should have no problems at all taking a tour in Athens on turnaround day. You will need to get your new room cards activated on that day, which has been between 8 and 9 am when we've done b2b's. So I would say 9 would be a safe time. I would personally want to be back no later than 4pm.

Not an issue on Azamara's part then but her consortium.
  12. It’s very easy for her to submit your payment online! No reason to call it in!!!

Did she do the Azamara training on the new system? Has she booked azamara before? There have been no booking issues for the agents I know

I haven’t heard an end date yet. Progress seems to be happening though, at a fairly good speed. It’s a huge transition for them.
  15. We did two tours with him in 2018. He selected very good wineries; be aware that you’ll be doing a tour at each one you go to. He took us to a wonderful local bistro for lunch, and also to a fantastic wine shop on way back to the ship, as we wanted to pick up some bottles to enjoy on the ship. We’ve booked with him again for two days in 2024 when we’ll be there on Azamara again. Here’s our tour schedule from 2018:
  16. We have done both. We now have a wine suitcase, specifically made to keep bottles safe from breakage so we check it rather than carrying it on.
  17. I was able to special order sushi at lunchtime on the Journey last summer. I love sushi and have always been happy with the quality.

Prices on the Quest 28 May 2024 have remained stable, with an N1 still the same as when we booked it last year
  19. Azamara has put any changes to existing bookings, including payments, on hold until the 27th. Your TA should have received an email regarding this, several days ago. No cruise will be canceled during this time period due to non payment, so please don’t worry about that happening.

I think Azamara has been doing a good job keeping us informed. Timely messages informing us of delays. They have sent messages to TAs to be passed on to clients regarding clients sailing soon and clients with final payments due. Instead of allowing chaos, they’ve halted online changes to booked cruises to make sure everything transitions smoothly. Kudos to them! This is a huge undertaking! Give them the opportunity to complete the transition. Contact your TA with your issues. Breathe…
