  1. We sailed out of Port Canaveral prior to Hurricane Jeanne in 2004. We ended up 3 extra days at sea with an additional stop at Labadee for one of those 3 days. Had to return to Miami since Port Canaveral had been damaged by the hurricane. RCI provided a bus for $20 that took us directly to the Orlando airport. Our original flights had been canceled since the airport had shut down, but they had booked us on another flight that actually worked perfectly with our 3 extra days at sea. You have to be willing to roll with the weather dice you've been given. Some people might get extra days at sea. Others might get less. And still others have no effects whatsoever and have a great cruise. Don't stress yourself out about it and just go out and have a great cruise. And definitely get back to the Southern Caribbean! Still one of our most favorite itineraries.
  2. My dad would've loved that. Every time he came to my house he would ask for his coffee with Baileys. I miss that now that he's gone.
  3. That's why I have a sign behind my desk that reads "Go away if you have cooties" ;o)
  4. Good luck with the antigen test. And were you able to get some books or something to entertain yourself while in quarantine???
  5. WWHHAAAAAATTTT???!!!! No hash browns in the Windjammer for breakfast?!!! I want my money back!!!
  6. Yes. You can go to Insure My Trip and get policies with Covid coverage: These plans stand out for their coverage specific to COVID-19 travel concerns. Depending on the plan, coverage options may include cancellation, emergency medical care, medical evacuation, or accommodation coverage in case of quarantine at your destination. I ran a dummy booking of $10,000 for 2 people ages 65 and 60 from Ireland. Cost of insurance was between $147 and $282 traveling from 10/26 - 11/13. Obviously you could play with the website with your specific information, but that should get you started.
  7. You should be watching Patrick Guide Barcelona on YouTube. He has been absolutely fantastic on posting the most recent requirements for getting into Spain. Here's his most recent post from Monday May 16th. Start at the 5:45 minute mark since it's a live stream.
  8. Interesting. And they're still letting people board outside of their times?
  9. Really? They didn't give you a check in time slot? What time did you arrive? Were you given a specific terminal to board through? My understanding is that Oasis class takes up 2 terminals. Sorry for all the questions! We're on the WB TA in late October and starting to get excited about the cruise.
  10. Great review. I think I might try a live review during the WB TA on Wonder this fall. Never tried one before and I think it would be fun with all the "down" time we'll have ;o)
  11. Looks like your "formal" attire is our "formal" attire ;o) Only we have black chiffon flowy pants.
