  1. Let us know how your boarding goes today (which is March 2nd)! We board on March 27th.
  2. As soon as you board, head to one of the specialty dining venues and CONFIRM your reservations. I sent in my reservation requests to the suite lounge guys prior to the Wonder TA and they said they had sent them on to the dining staff to make the reservations but they never were. I didn't find out until 5pm the night of embarkation day. All Mason Jar dinner slots were already taken so I had to make do with a brunch which was less than ideal since we really wanted the dinner. So for us going forward I will ALWAYS double check as soon as we board the ship for any suite reservations. My recommendation is that you head to Deck 4 to Izumi. There is less of a line there and they can confirm all reservations for you. Wish I had heeded my own advice on that one.
  3. Thanks for the Edge suggestion. That worked perfectly to print our luggage tags. Couldn't figure out why they were printing stumpy before ;o)
  4. Note to self: Start hoarding strawberry yogurt on embarkation day and then resell for a premium at the end of the cruise...
  5. Glad I was there during the pandemic and it looked like this: The only 4 other people on the beach were at the front near the water. We were in the back row in the shade. Next time we'll try out those beach beds. Of course there will be a lot more people then ;o)
  6. Nice video. I saw some parts of InTENse in your video that I haven't seen on other YT videos.
  7. We're getting ready to go on the Royal Princess RT from SF to Hawaii and we have a Club Class mini suite. I'm extremely disappointed with the balcony on the ship in comparison to the balcony we had on our Independence of the Seas cruise in 2021. Most of the Princess ships have smaller balconies than RCI does which is why we mainly cruise on Royal Caribbean rather than Princess. The tubs I think are about the same and having that extra living area space is lovely. Have a great cruise!
  8. So when are they moving Allure to PC? I thought she was home ported in Galveston?
  9. How much did the ukulele cost? My roommate who isn't sailing with me has expressed interest in one so I might need to get one for her.
  10. The laundry bag is made of thin paper and it can rip very easily. You aren't going to get more than underwear and maybe some socks in there for a family of 5. We had 2 laundry services during our 14 night Wonder TA last year. So here are some pictures of what they gave us. The Cruise Compass is obviously 8.5" x 11", so that should give you an idea of the size of the laundry bag.
  11. We had a good showing on our Wonder TA. I coordinated with RCI and got us the Music Hall with no bartender (BYOB). I didn't want to post a gathering place prior to sailing without having a place reserved for us. You don't know if others have the same idea. Better to have a place reserved by RCI for your M&M.
  12. We had some Tazo in our Owner's Suite, but I don't remember what they had throughout the ship. Bring your own to make sure you have what you want. It's not like it weighs a ton ;o)
  13. Singapore to Dubai is a dream cruise for me. Would love to do that someday.
  14. If you go to see InTense at the AquaTheater bring earplugs. Sheesh! It was LOUD!!! We could barely hear ourselves talk inside Playmakers once the show started during our dinner.
  15. We had Starlink in October/November last year on Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Port Canaveral. It was fantastic. Even in the middle of the Atlantic we had fast internet and hardly any issues. I had more problems with Cruise Critic at that time (there was some kind of glitch that affected some of us from being able to post on CC) than I did with the internet itself. So hopefully Princess will be as successful with it as Royal Caribbean has been.
  16. Must be nice to be able to drop $40 a day for a chair you aren't using.
  17. Usually they offer a Kennedy Space Center tour (which is fantastic, by the way) for those whose flights are after 5pm.
  18. During the Wonder TA I asked our waiter Arvin if I could get the prime rib from the MDR on the first night. He got some for me. He brought back a plate with not one, but two massive slabs of meat ;o) I felt bad that I wasn't able to eat all of it and it was sooooo good ;o)
  19. We also had the music festival in the Aquatheater during the Wonder Westbound TA last fall that was really nice. There were also two guest lecturers during the week as well as the Promenade parades and other events. We actually spent most of our time in our cabin due to the relaxed Covid restrictions. Hardly anyone was wearing masks and there were a lot of people just hanging out in Cafe Promenade during the day and other locations. We just didn't feel that comfortable being around the maskless during the TA (although we, like so many others, ended up having Covid after we returned home from the cruise). Since we had an Owner's Suite we stayed there and had a blast. We brought books and magazines, watched TV and surfed the web (the internet was fantastic). We did 5 nights specialty dining which was nice and split our evening meals between Coastal Kitchen and the Windjammer. If you want an idea of what to expect, I posted all the Cruise Compasses on Issuu. You can find them here: Wonder of the Seas WB TA Cruise Compasses
  20. That's what I figured since it didn't have the full refurbishment in 2020 after the WB TA was canceled. Although Wonder was nice (and our Owner's Suite was freaking amazing), pretty much everyone was saying that it didn't have the same feel as the other Oasis class ships.
