  1. Same here. I can't add one for my child. I don't mind though b/c I want to use OBC for it and I can't unless I wait to add it when I'm on the ship (DUMB).
  2. Well...thanks folks! This has been highly entertaining. I had no idea so many took some fresh towels and a room refresh so seriously.
  3. That's not what it says though. It says I can buy 3 @250 =750 dollars and get 375 OBC. What am I missing.
  4. Another question--can you use the 3 $500 certs on one cruise? So essentially getting 750 'free'? OR does this only work on Havens and you can only use 3 $250 certs on one cruise?
  5. I finally found it - Only refundable Onboard Credits and the Non-Refundable Onboard Credit given for purchasing CruiseNext deposits may be used towards your CruiseNext purchase. I don't get why people say otherwise.
  6. I read all 5 pages and I'm still lost. This is what I understand to be true but who the heck knows anymore: Only refundable Onboard Credits and the Non-Refundable Onboard Credit given for purchasing CruiseNext deposits may be used towards your CruiseNext purchase. Meaning- if I buy NOTHING at all onboard and ONLY have the deposits on my bill it would look like this: $750 stateroom deposits 375 OBC My CC is then charged 375 at the end of the cruise
  7. Someone on these boards from 2021 was told the OBC was 'non refundable' meaning they couldn't use the half off toward the purchase of the certs. Meaning- when they earned the 250 they had to spend it onboard- they could just get the cert half off. Anyone have any info on this? It's not worth it for us if we have to spend money on stupid stuff onboard for 'fake savings'.
  8. and you can apply 3 of these to a single cruise?
  9. My question still wasn't answered but ok. Why does this make people so angry? I don't give a hoot what people wear or don't wear. Why does it bother people that some of us want to dress up? It doesn't bother me one bit that people want to spend the entire week in shorts and flip flops.
  10. 1 reason- b/c the law says they don't have to. There should be a law that requires them to be upfront and share information and until that happens? (it won't) this is what we get. It's very frustrating.
  11. Why did they skip GSC and go to Nassau instead?
  12. I don't get landing at 3:30 either. Don't you have to be on the ship by 4 or 5? That's just NUTSO.
  13. On a 7 night there is generally a night where the daily states people might dress up if they want to right? --like 1 night where more people will dress up than others? I'm a loser that wants my family to dress up one night. I'm bringing a Kate Winslet type dress for that night- yes I'm totally lame and I know it. Wear what makes you happy right!
  14. It's my understanding the price is the same onboard.
  15. It's the same for mine! I can't add a soda or dining package for my 11yo son. His name doesn't pop up -only ours. I'm just going to add it on the ship.
  16. The courtyard haven you speak of (at least on Escape) does not have a sofa- but it does sleep 3 people. The 3rd person sleeps on a pull out chair.
  17. So basically not an actual benefit. I figured as much LOL
  18. I know this is splitting hairs here but ---Say you are Silver level and are supposed to get 40% off the unlimited drink package. NCL has been offering the packages included for a long time now on many sailings. Wondering- do you get reduced gratuities b/c of your discount? OR is the discount really only good if you buy it outright?
  19. Interesting that they were already upgrading people at 30 days out. That's very early. Must have been a ton of cabins left.
  20. Their claim is if they go slower they will save gas and that helps the earth. It's nothing but marketing BS. They SAVE $$$ on gas by going slower.
  21. Gotta love how they claim it's to save the earth and yet we all know it's just a cost cutting measure wrapped up in fake concern for the earth.
  22. Yup! Read them all...and I said what I said. Most of the time when you order 1 alcoholic and 1 mocktail they don't charge you anyway. Most of the bartenders don't care- even when I'm honest and say it's for my kid and bill me.
  23. Ok, so I'm sure this feed is going to blow up and I'm going to be told that I'm going to H E double hockey sticks for saying this...that I'm scum of the earth....but here goes... You get your kids the soda package and you get the drink package...on occasion you can get a mocktail on your plan and give it to 1 of the kids. IMO- they should do it like RC and have a refreshment package with all this stuff included but they don't...so in the absence of that I'm not going to feel bad getting a few drinks for my kid.
  24. So as of 1/8, no large ships going to DR. Good to know! I go end of February and there are only 2 ships in the DR during that time- so I can probably presume they will go to Amber Cove if Taino isn't available but who knows.
