  1. I agree with earlier post. Go to delta.com, check your reservation and choose your seats. also, If you download the delta app, you can see your luggage on the flights, sign up for notifications, etc.
  2. When this happened to us, I called the princess phone number and spoke to someone who put us on the wait list.
  3. We booked on Monday for Wednesday. Some time slots were full, but many to choose from. Meanwhile, a few hours after we paid, Princess changed the ruled for the UK - we didn't need a proctored test. Oh well....I will say, it worked perfectly. We logged on about 5 minutes prior and at the appointed time, the gal was there on our screen. We received a text saying negative and shortly after we received the PDF. Yes - now it was $16.99 - but if you sign up with your email, you get a small discount.
  4. yes google on-point testing.com there are a few companies doing this. i read about this one on another cruise critic board. used it this week for my parents. worked well and if you have questions, call the customer service. they answered the phones in around 5 minute hold and can even help you fill out the forms. they were very patient.
  5. If you have zoom app on your phone I think it would not be any problem. They send the link…anyone else have experience using their phone?
  6. Thanks for the great info and photos...we are getting ready for Iceland and Greenland on Princess and enjoyed your tour info - most of which, we are also doing through Princess. Keep having fun...we have been to Bergan and up the funicular - enjoy the rest of the cruise. Norway is wonderful.
  7. We also used the link. First it said the host was busy...I did refresh when it was our time and she popped up.
  8. We used On-Point yesterday and it was great. I booked the two tests on Tuesday for my parents to cruise. I felt that maybe I made an error and the wrong email populated the screen, so called the toll free number. In about 5 minutes, a young woman answered and emailed me a new link so I could fix the email. It was wonderful. I did take a screen shot of the order # I also took a screen shot of the code for each person You will need to confirm these with the person on the zoom call. Then, yesterday, we used the free government BinaxNow tests. Had never used these and the young woman on the Zoom call instructed us clearly how to use the tests. Binax uses a card and not a vial/bottle. As we hung up, I received a text - we were off to the market, but as soon as we were back home, the email was there with both PDF's. I downloaded, took a screen shot and printed. Great job for $14.99 - didn't have to drive anywhere and customer support was fantastic. Hope this helps anyone else.
  9. we used Viator 2 years ago....excellent tour from and including Belfast
  10. A few years ago, we used viator in belfast and had a wonderful tour out to the coast, to a nice town and back through to Belfast. It was great.
  11. We used Princess As the itinerary was outstanding - the ship not great (it was the crown before the pandemic) tske the ships tours to normandy We used viator for two others - Belfast and somewhere is Scotland butler Tours for cork the shuttle at the port for Edinburough - if still operating and had pre booked the castle there was a Publix bus into Glasgow and we walked around and went to art museum - I would think of taking a tour if had to do over, but we had fun we started the trip in Dublin and went in a few days before and after Hope this helps
  12. Pre pandemic - no cabs come to the port unless you have the Dublin taxi app If you don’t - you need to use the ships shuttle go to the famous street with temple bar, have a Guinness and listen to the music the book of kells was nice and we booked on-line the art Museum impressionist gallery is lovely and think it was free walking the streets is the best tons to do
  13. We used butler tours pre-pandemic and were extremely pleased with the tour. Kinsale was lovely and we went for fish and chips right where the bus let us off. there was not time to climb blarney castle as too many tourist and long lines - maybe it will be different when you go. We had a nice time walking around and then shopping at the different stores
  14. Anther cruise critic person wrote about on point-testing.com it is 14.99 you use your at home test (we have free from the govt and insurance) and they watch you on line and send an email… this looks like the best price and is 24x7 if anyone has used them, please respond!
  15. In the La Patisserie, do they serve food - such as the breakfast sandwiches and afternoon desserts? The items that are in the international cafe on the other ships? Thanks for any info...
  16. KN94 is the south korean version and just as effective.
  17. We liked the good spirits bar on the other ships...cute sort of "show" when they made drinks at certain times of the day. If they have espresso machines there, guess we could run to the lido and grab the pastries. A shame no international cafe to also go for a light late breakfast...oh well - it's what happens when on an older ship. Are you on the transatlantic now or did you disembark in Ft. Lauderdale? thanks again for everything you wrote. Stay well!
  18. Thanks so much for the update! strange about the safes not working. It's really good if people complain and get things fixed. Sabetini's was not great on the Enchanted - nor was the crown grill...on the enchanted or the regal. We will try the Bayou - on your recommendation, but not blame you when the meal is not great LOL! If not international cafe, where do you go for coffee and small snacks? Is there a main atrium where there is some food and a place to listen to music, etc.? Well, 20 people is 10 covid couples - I'm guessing not so awful for a couple of thousand on the ship. Who knew we would be so lucky, in early December, the Enchanted had no covid. We never knew for sure in February, what was on the Regal. Did the ship look nice and clean????
  19. Hi - you wrote you are currently sailing on the Island Princess. We are on the August 12th trip and have not been on this specific ship. Can you tell us about the shows, staff (are there enough support staff), food - or anything that might be interesting? We love the Gigi's/alfredo's on other ships...as well as the international cafe. What's the deal on the Island? We also have a free specialty restaurant night - any suggestions? We are booked on the mid ship 9th floor - how do the rooms, carpeting, beds look as the ship has just gone back into service. Will love hearing back from you. Joyce
