We did a 14 night TA in May and the wife got Covid , she has had worst colds , sore throat for a day, we did get vaccinated 2 weeks before the cruise , which we believed stop her from getting sick we also did a 21 day Baltic and Arctic TA in September, I got a cold that always goes around the ship I wear a mask on a plane but not on the ship I think as long as you get your vaccination and don’t do raspberries with your grandchild that goes to daycare ( I have caught two virus from him 🤣) you should be fine

Why would any of be on Celebrity 🤔

I have read that the Penthouse on the M-class is one of the best not that I have been in , just going by location and size

Infinity and the Constellation have not been renovated yet to accommodate suites Some of the S-class ships have also been renovated like the Summit so you have to check the deck plan also A class ship? Or do you mean E-class, a lot of area is cordoned off for the suites

With almost every twist and turn one can look out to sea- and is – therefore - kind of connected with the sea- for me the whole purpose of traveling by ship. The shear elegance and style of those ships. This a reason we do not like the Apex , and will stick to M&S class ships unless the itinerary and price is right for an E-class ship

In 2019 Celebrity had a great Black Friday sale , extra $300 OBC , a couple of perks and $25 deposit we got a great price on Reflection TA for 2021 which We were able to L&S to Apex TA in 2022 You have to know your pricing for the cruise you want and when you think it is a fair price book it Also check with your TA to see if their agency has a group price , we gotten group prices that included Always at the same price Celebrity posted as Sail Only

When people say the music is great on HAL , What great about it ? For eg , we did a arctic TA on RCL , in September the music was awful, the genre was ok , basically 70’s and newer but the musicians were bad , but passengers loved them the theatre had show tunes from the 30-40’s , much before my time lol I do like them serving you at the buffet, RCL does not , 🤢 Celebrity did in April , but food was cold will look at HAL for 2024 as we are booked with 2 TAs for 2023 on Celebrity

My daughter had a port hole balcony it was fine , no different than Voyager class ship on RCL my wife had IV on the Apex TA while in quarantine ,she though it was a great place to be stuck in A lot when she couldn’t keep the window open due to weather There is Problems with E-class but IV is not one of them

You may see the silhouette of the rock , but is about it unless they have add light to it since I last saw it

I remember the first time we passed Gibraltar , our cabin was a balcony on port side, Gibraltar is on Starboard side Captain announced the we were going to be passing at about 5am, of course I wake up at 4:30 am 🙄, than the dilemma, do I wake up the wife because if it something to see and she misses I will be in sh$tt and if I wake her and there nothing to see I will be in sh$tt so I woke her up 😱 I couldn’t make a couple of red lights appear exciting in her eyes 😁

I was feel much safer walking around the EU compared to the USA

And we don’t want you to use the rest of the ship, we are not worthy of being in your presence😁

There is premium economy seats The flights are usually over night so you might be able to get some sleep unless it filled with small children check Flights by Celebrity for one way flights sometimes they have excellent pricing Also I would fly in at least 2 days early there is a lot to see in Barcelona

I really hate instagram, I much prefer Facebook

I have seen some great pricing on FBC and seen crappy pricing usually they have the best pricing for one way flights to EU you just need to keep checking

We been using them for years , sign up for their emails used them in April and September this year skypark.ca

We probably dock there , we paid Celebrity shuttle, but we also got it refund later in the cruise thanks for the info

Last time went Porter it was a sh1t show , they over book a plane and it left 1-1/2 hour late All of our cruises are in the EU or TAs , so flying out of Person is great so many direct flights to EU we can get parking for $120 a month Living east of the GTA it not worth to fly out of Buffalo, Hamilton or KW it will be interesting once Porter gets they jets and are flying out of YYZ , hopefully lowering prices

We were there 10 years ago in a rain storm 😢 on the Equinox TA We had to take a water shuttle from where we dock into Toulon Are they still doing that ?

Our TA was email with a client on the cruise Lots of creaking on the ship, broken glasses / dishes along with bottles of wine/liquor. Heard several people complained about the creaking noises in the cabins and have been offered cruise credits. It seems if you complain about anything you can OBC or partial refunds. service has definitely not been up to Celebrity standards, especially on this leg - definitely short staffed. No cutlery in Ocean View day 2 for lunch, same today, day 11, thought maybe whatever the issues they would have figured it out by day 11.“

Also the music from Martini is heard in Al Bacio and the acoustics are terrible in both bars !

On the Westbound TAs, the problem is with staff not able to get US visas not sure of the reason why they cannot get one
