How to make the most of a Transatlantic Cruise?
Ex-Airbalancer replied to GRBlizz's topic in Celebrity Cruises
On the 2012 Equinox November TA , our first TA ,we did go though a Hurricane from Toulon to Barcelona , 15m waves , family cabins on the bow of deck 8 had water come in the cabins though the balcony doors ( if it was an Infinity Balcony would water still get in ๐ค) A lot balcony dividers broke , they lost a Cannister life raft, a number of people left the ship in Barcelona ๐ Than heading to Madera the ship was hit by a Rogue wind , that listed the ship for about 15 minutes, that was different on our April Apex TA , after the first night out of FLL the seas were almost like glass ๐ -

Please tell the OP. The truth TAs are the worst , the fresh food is gone in 2 days , Spam is on the Menu after three days, it is amazing what the kitchen staff can do with Spam ๐ All the passengers are alway grumpy There is no entertainment! And no wifi The oceans are alway like the link We done over 10 TAs so I know what I am writing about After I done my next 3 Transatlantic booking , thatโs it ๐คฌ maybe ๐ https://youtu.be/j2sxfx3SSCQ- 124 replies

With a group booking the travel agent has to call in to pay the gratuities , you can not do it yourself so much for an email blast working ๐ Just on less thing to worry about our 2 cruises next year are with Celebrity with their All in pricing , so Donโt have worry about any increase ,and at $135 CAD ($105usd) per day, it a great deal -

Ex-Airbalancer replied to Southward-Bound's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I hope they continue using ArriveCAN, they can drop the Covid stuff, because it is easier than filling in the stupid form on the plane , declaring how much bought etc -

When did the gratituites increase?
Ex-Airbalancer replied to Ex-Airbalancer's topic in Royal Caribbean International
The reason I started the thread because gratitudes were up to $16 in the edoc, which surprised me , Which was higher than on the website , like you I just like to know my cost I was wondering how I missing a thread about the increase, because no way this could be the first one ๐ฑ I prefer automatic tipping because to me it feels weird to give someone a tip for doing their job -

When did the gratituites increase?
Ex-Airbalancer replied to Ex-Airbalancer's topic in Royal Caribbean International
No, but it would make it easier to compare cruise pricing In Canada , taxes and port fees have to be included in the price , again making it easier to compare pricing
