I was on the Enchanted Princess for 21 days (5/21-6/17) and had no problems with the wi-fi. I was on Deck 9 aft section. I used the internet for texts, email, FaceTime and some google searches with no problems.
That is one of the reasons I enjoy bringing a ‘real’ book on a cruise. I was actually surprised on my Hawaii cruise last month as to the large number of people who were reading ‘real’ books. And the book exchange section in the library covered several shelves. I dropped off the book I brought from home but returned home with 2 books from the exchange shelf. Oops! I guess that defeated the purpose of having an empty ‘hole’ in my luggage upon disembarking.
I have several shore excursions planned during my 21 day Mediterranean cruise this summer. I usually plan to give any tour guides a tip at the end. Will providing any tips to the tour guides in US $ be acceptable?
Just received a phone call from Princess offering to sign me up for the new 360 experience - at no additional cost. However it would not include my traveling companion so I declined. No desire to ‘enjoy a special experience’ and desert my friend.
I tested positive at the end of the land tour. I received FCC from Princess for my missed 8 days (7 night cruise plus 1 day travel Talkeetna to Whittier). The FCC appeared in my account 2 or 3 weeks after the ‘end’ of the cruise.
my problem now is trying to get Princess to remove that FCC from my account because I have been reimburse from my insurance claim.🙂
My Nov 8 cruise was a girls trip. So we will plan to move over to the Nov 5 Cabo cruise. Cruising out of LA is much easier for me but we much preferred the San Francisco itinerary over Cabo. Still plan to have fun with my friend - just will have more spa time rather time off the ship.🙂
On June 29 the Covid passengers were told that they would be taken to the Voyager Inn but it ended up they were taken to the Aptel Studio Hotel. I guess the Voyager Inn was full.
