    Main thing is family and friends is a reason.

  2. No one feels like talking. Come on--How was your weekend?

     

    I did a little shopping for Christmas (having early this Friday) and for my

    cruise. What I hate is the online shopping is making stores close. Lost couple of stores I bought clothes at. Don't know where to go now. I like to try my clothes on. Guess will have to drive farther but their losing stores too. What's funny the one online store I did shop at in the covid time frame

    is out of business now!  Woe is me.🙁

     

    Hope to see you all in here soon, tell me how you're doing. As of today, lost a little but went

    food shopping yesterday too. More food in the house. Have to be careful. I should be to busy

    to eat, need to clean house, get stuff together for cruise. (still iron) Way behind in everything.

    Plus, Wed. going out to get flu and covid shots (I know should have done sooner) and the bank and little more shopping.

     

    My cruise is Dec. 22nd to Feb. 2nd.  Hawaii and Mexico. Will be people I know each cruise,

    doing 3 b2b's.

     

    See it's not hard to come in here and talk. 

  3. Izena I'm sorry you're still not feeling well and don't know why. Glad they haven't found

    anything serious but sorry you're still taking tests.

     

    I know it's hard not to eat right when you don't feel well especially. when it's been months.

    I know you'll be able to lose weight when you feel better and are ready. I hope you coming

    in here helps you not gain too much more that you can just stay the same for now.

    Jan sorry you had a gain but understand the "ice cream." As I said before

    calls my name too. Ignore it calling your name this week and hope the

    gain will come off fast.

     

    Robin glad you came back, sorry about the cancer. Glad you're doing well now.

    Yes, you have a good start with only having to cook and eat for yourself. Wishing

     you a good loss next Thursday.

     

    Me I lost a pound this week. Hope can do it next week.

     

    Hope to see Izena, Terri and Solo in here soon.

  5. Enjoy the Holidays you celebrate

    Know they will be great

     

    Trouble they come with drink and food

    The whole month can you be good

     

    Know that we all will try our best

    December sure gives us a test

     

    Just have to eat less  you can do

    Dessert just take a bite or two

     

    At least try to maintain so not to have extra weight

    So in January same weight or less to start out straight

    Trying not to gin at least stay the same.

     

    Izena sorry your still having problems with your health. Glad Jazzper doing good

     

    Jan glad you had a good weekend. (ice cream is my downfall too)

     

    Terri nice job with a loss and almost done Christmas shopping done.

     

    Solo sorry missed saying Bon Voyage to you. Know you'll have a good time.

     

    I'm OK , ear better. I just don't want to do anything. Tell myself you can do it tomorrow.

    Quite a few tomorrows have passed but did a few things today. (very few) I'll get with it.

    Don't like winter cold and getting darker earlier. Had the "munchies" for a few days.

    Have to stop that. Need to stop some things and get going on other things!🙃😀

  7. Last weigh-in of November 

    Then it's December

     

    Then a whole New Year

    Will you be here--(hope new people too)

     

    Since December is the Holiday Month

    Everyone Try to go through it Without A Gain

     

    A Loss would be the Best

    But Staying the Same would be better than a Gain

     

    If by chance you have a Gain

    Let it be Small and you get it Off Fast (should be small since you're trying to eat less)

     

    So on January 4th (weigh-in day) We can Celebrate

    That We can say We did Great

     

    Sorry I didn't come in after starting the thread but see others didn't either. (busy or on cruises)

    Ear still not 100%, Thanksgiving and would have been my anniversary, always get sad for a while. 

    Miss my husband He would have loved all these cruises I'm taking.

     

    Hope everyone is having a good holiday season so far. Izena on a cruise now, I think. Solo going

    on one soon. Sorry don't remember when others are going. Wishing that everyone's weather

    stays nice. No big storms or anything like that.

     

    Oh, I forgot to say, happily. no gain on my 30-day cruise but on 2-day Thanksgiving food gained 

    a pound but got it off. Does that make sense, 30-day verses a 2 day? Cruises are good for me.😊

  8. Hello Izena, sorry your still not feeling well. What did the Dr. say? Happy your son is doing better

    and grandson did great on math test. Also sorry about Jazzper Know how it fells our cat was

    14 yrs. We want the best for them.

    Izena it's great no appetite but you need some food, you don't want to keep getting dizzy

    or weak. Need some food.

     

    I know not everyone on cruises at this point, well think I' right. Start my 2nd cruise today.

    Bought the internet, 1st cruise didn't have it but missed it. So here I am. Hope more people

    check in.

  9. Solo sounds like you have a growing business. Good for you.

    Your cruise was Sept., you didn't say anything after you came back, guess

    that's why I missed it. Nice you have another coming up soon.

     

    Like I said leaving tomorrow on my cruises, won't have internet till Nov.

    Will come on and see how well you're doing.

  10. i thought I posted yesterday. I lost a pound. I'm trying to get ready for cruise Sunday.

    So maybe I forgot to post.

     

    Izena I hope you and your dog are feeling better. Hope your son is doing better

    each day.

     

    Solo Nice you had a loss with your traveling and workshops. Didn't know you did that.

    Good Luck in Huston. Did you go on your cruise yet?

     

    Jan on her cruise, did JustUs/Terri go on hers. Hasn't been on in a few weeks.

  12. Hello on this Sunday. Hope your having a good day.

     

    Izena hope your son is doing better each day. Glad you can text and phone

    and he answers back. Glad you got your gas meter installed.

     

    Like you my downfall is sweets. Ice cream and Chocolate. Sometimes I have just a little

    and be happy (trying for that) and sometimes not.

     

    Hope to hear from the rest of you and say how your weekend is going.

    I need to start getting things ready for my cruise but so lazy lately.

    Had dinner and nice visit with the" kids" tonight. Had steak brought half home for Sat.

  14. Jan---Staying the same is good, know a loss is better but no gain before

    your cruise. Sat. almost here. Yes 5:30 is to early. Forgot where are you

    cruising to? Also, nice to see you on a Thursday.😊Good job on not eating chocolate

    and exercising.

     

    Izena...So sorry you're having so much stress. When our "kids" no matter how

    old are sick or anything we worry. Didn't know ex and son had strokes 3 months apart.

    Tx son, doesn't mean it's going to happen to him. Also was thinking even if

    son says doesn't want visitors, you're his mother, if you want to see him, GO. Bet down

    deep he would be happy to see you.

     

    Solo---Nice birthday gift, benign. Good loss. Nice your doctor gave you meds for

    weight loss, most don't. Nice you're feeling like eating less and stop when full.

    That's what we all should do and know we're all trying.

     

    Me---I lost a pound. One more weigh-in before cruise. Like to lose at least a pound.

    That would make four weeks in a row with a loss Then Cruise Food. Tomorrow 

    going out to eat with the "kids". Owe them a birthday dinner.

     

    Let's do our best this week.

    Did you discover drinking more water helped you or not?

     

    Does exercise make a difference with you losing or not?

     

    Can you have a few bites of dessert, candy and quit eating it now you're trying to lose?

     

    What food have you replace for another to help you lose?

     

    Any foods you don't eat anymore?

     

    Do you eat everything but less of it?

     

    Do you eat more salads and veggies?

     

    More meat or less?

     

    So here are some things to think about. Please if have good tips tell, we're all trying to lose.
