A few photos from Bimini. We had threats of thunderstorms while I was on the island so my visit was quite brief but I'll start with the South Island as seen from my tender. The primary transportation on the island is a combination of golf carts and open air trams. There is a resort and casino which was under the same ownership at the time as Crystal and that was our tender stop. The main settlement is Alice Town, a couple miles south of the resort. I tend to prefer my hamburgers without the cheese, but cheese can be nice also. Strange quote by Marx. I visited Bimini on the Crystal Symphony once, before the pier was installed. A great day for Ireland. I think I'll pass on the Falalel. My alternative is Coffee and Chocolate, as advertised at Fat Gramma's Cafe in Yukatat, Alaska: Temperature down this morning. It sounds like a low grade fever may be normal while recovering from Covid. Roy

I'm feeling really uneasy now. I'm booked on Queen Mary 2 September 29 to October 5 connecting to Crystal Serenity October 6-13 back to New York. It's a trip I've really been looking forward to since it would be my first time in a Grills Cabin, and I had not expected to sail Crystal again after they stopped operating last year. I really want this trip but am not sure I am up to it yet, and if I am to go I must send a bag off with Luggage Forward on Wednesday. So little time to make a decision. Roy

I've been to Picton 1 to 3 (your choice) times in February 2020, arriving within days (in order) on the Interislander ferry, Coastal Pacific Train, and Crystal Serenity. Roy
