Had pub lunch in mdr on board the Crown last fall. Was really good!

Some lines offer a guarantee fare each for two people but when you enter for solo the pppd goes up and then it is 2 x.

Have paid more than 2x the fare on various lines. Annoying ,the TA said they’ll do what they want. Can make more money with 2 in a cabin.

It figures! Kind of more loyal to Royal. Don’t know why tablecloths matter to me but they do!

On Spirit last year. Loved it. Do believe it’s the only Carnival ship that still uses tablecloths in the mdr, which I prefer!

May tends to be a drier month, more daylight hours as well. That 14 day sounds great! Fewer kids in as well if that matters

Trying to get a table to share on Crown Princess was a pain last year. On Royal it was much better.

Spent 2 weeks on Ex and 2 weeks on En last year, late sitting, shared table, was just fine. Spent 1 week on Crown Princess also last year, long lines of cranky people with reservations every night. Was irritating every night! -
Loved the Spirit last spring in Alaska. A great flow to the decks. Lots of space. Still has table cloths in the mdr. Nice promenade deck. Constant maintenance going on. Food was fine. All in all a fine older ship!

Did Rotterdam VI 40rh since they quit doing TAs ten years ago or so. It was a great experience. NYC to Rotterdam with a stop in Cobh.

Was on Crown Princess last fall and both mtd and fixed were both a mess in terms of unknown how it was going to work out each evening. Food and service was fine once sealed. -
Plus a really good old mansion to tour called the Victorian and the most photographed lighthouse in Maine.

I always leave the tips intact and give cabin staff as well as the dining staff a $20 or so. -
I do truly dislike the corridor carpets. Who thought those up?

Think any cabin you can snag on the Mary is so cool! Love the sheltered balcony cabins on 4,5,6. Britannia Restaurant is quite nice.

Spent 4 weeks on Royal last year (Explorer and Enchantment). The food was fine although one dinner I should have sent back my overcooked tuna steak.
