  1. @bjahil47thank you. Any buffet suggestions would be appreciated. I can easily avoid the pasta station. Do you know if they offer gluten free pizza?
  2. I hadn’t even thought about the amuse bouche! This is new to me, just 3 weeks. Easy at home, but eating in restaurants seems challenging so far.
  3. So now I’m gluten free. Probably no desserts for me…
  4. There was a change in an excursion we had purchased previously. We did not like the new timing so I called Celebrity to see if we could change it to the next day (we are overnight in port). Waited less than 1 minute, got connected to the lovely Richard who not only changed that excursion, but due to the flash sale, repriced all the other excursions we had booked. Quite a savings. Richard made my day!!
  5. I am not seeing Luminae menus on the app. Eclipse, 12/7-23. Any ideas?
  6. Sadly, we too are moving on after our December cruise on Eclipse. We have Regent and Oceania booked.
  7. Is it possible to use Regent Air for only one leg of the trip?
  8. Okay thanks! Yes, I did transfer the booking to my TA. I will ask her.
  9. Well, I see the to-do list, but am unable to click on the final payment due. It shows up (Jan 1) but I cannot open it.
  10. Will someone please tell me where to find my remaining invoice balance. I feel pretty silly not being able to navigate the site! Thanks!!
  11. Lovely family photos! Enjoying your report as always. I’m even more convinced now to skip the RS on E class. We truly enjoy balconies and having meals there too.
  12. I’m not familiar with the Chase card coverage, but my experience with AmEx platinum was not great. Because I had used points to “buy” our flight one way, AmEx would not reimburse for a private tour because we didn’t buy the entire trip with it. It was a two day excursion so I was quite disappointed. Lesson learned.
  13. We use trip insurance store dot com. Had a Covid claim last June and got reimbursed with a little effort on my part. I had to provide lots of documentation so be sure you have everything you need before filing. We used to buy insurance because we had elderly parents. Lo and behold, we are now the elderly parents! Wouldn’t travel without it. And as for AmEx Platinum, be very sure you use only that card for absolutely every expense related to the trip, even for parts you don’t care about insuring.
  14. Really enjoying your posts Ken. Thanks for all your efforts and your stunning photos!
  15. I agree with the OP who suggested the buffet for delicious Indian food. We did the Taste of Taj on Silhouette and it was underwhelming. However, we’re spoiled by an excellent Indian restaurant near our home.
  16. I wanted to try the eggplant, but won’t pass up the veal chop. I know I could have both, but I’d like to fit into my travel pants to get home!
  17. Loved your Luke story, and yes, I teared up. We used to think we could never get another dog, but realized we are dog people and love having them in our lives. Our newest baby, Archie, is an absolute joy. Our only issue is leaving him home while we cruise!
  18. We would choose Regent if $ were no object, but for us, the included excursions make sense for a port intensive cruise. We are booked on Grandeur next May (Greece, Israel and Turkey) but then we’re scheduled to try Oceania for a Panama Canal cruise.
  19. The lamb dishes in Luminae have been excellent. The fish is always delicious.
  20. Thanks @prmssk. I guess I will go ahead and book Oceania. I can always change if we find something we like better.
  21. Does anyone know when the spring/summer 2025 itineraries will be published? We’re thinking of booking Oceania Vista for a TA and then on to Southampton (5/1/25) but would like to compare Celebrity’s offerings before making the deposit. Thanks!
  22. The raspberry pistachio vacherin is there! What about those log/trip hazards? What do you think of the balcony? Looks a bit smaller than S class.
