AC Hotel is near restaurants but there is also construction, the shuttle can take a while, it's not as close to the airport as you would think. I liked that it was a new property when I stayed there last year, but read the reviews on Tripadvisor.

which part of the dining room do they use for fixed seating? are there tables for 2?

Best way? Uber or is there a shuttle service, we are 2 with luggage, don't need private transfer.

August was cold and rainy, outside decks unusable

some of the reviews indicate the Coral Princess is old and tired. I would hate to spend 20 plus days on a ship with issues.

Princess will have 7 ships sailing Alaska next season. Prices should be very good for these sailings as I cannot see how they will fill them.

That was on Sat Dec 10 off Discovery Princess, did not self disembark just got an early luggage tag.

Equinox has better service, food and entertainment.

Uber lines and wait times were long today, cost $40 to get back to LGB post cruise with Uber. Easy to make 9:45 flight though.

So we did a day pass at the Marriott which had a great pool and nice beach but no one allowed in the ocean because of crocks, stingrays and octopus. I didn't see any but there was one crock attack in August. It was a bummer.

just back we schlepped to the ferry and stopped at Velereo. The water was very pleasant, the service good. Many people were eating at this restaurant which is huge inside. We took a ride back to the ferry and a cab back to the port. We had a great day (Dec 6) only 2 dogs, no horses. Place was clean.
