I hate rooting for the Cowboys also, but I hate rooting for the Dolphins more. One more loss by the Dolphins and the Bills can still win the division. Ideal scenario...Dolphins lose to the Boys and then beat the Ravens. Ravens also lose to the 49ers and the Steelers (very possible). Chiefs lose one more game somewhere...maybe the Bengals or maybe a division game vs Raiders or at LA. Bills win out and end up with the 1 seed. Maybe not likely, but possible. A Bills fan can dream...right?

I'm with your wife, as are almost all of the Bills fans that I watch games with. We hosted a few Bills friends last night since we have the Peacock Network. Lots of moaning and groaning and a few choice words throughout the second half. It's just the scar tissue that forms after a lifetime of losing in bizarre and painful ways. Wide right is still my worst ever sports experience, followed closely by 13 seconds. You know they're bad losses when they have names (looking at you Browns fans...the drive, the fumble).

I'm always impressed by the eclectic nature of your Christmas song collection. I tried to create a Spotify playlist using your track listing but Spotify didn't have several of your versions of the songs. I couldn't find some of the artists on Spotify at all. Plus, I'd be missing out on the various "commercials" that you included. Thanks for putting this together and sharing with everyone!

I find it easier to upload all pictures and then manually insert one picture at a time (using insert at lower right of picture), hit the return "key" twice, insert the next picture, 2 more returns, insert picture, etc. This leaves a gap between pics without needing to go back and edit. If you want to put a picture between paragraphs, type the first paragraph, hit return 4 times, then type the second paragraph. This leaves a 3 line blank space between paragraphs. Use your finger to put the cursor in the middle empty line between paragraphs and then press insert next to the picture. The picture will appear between the paragraphs with an empty line above and below. For either of the above techniques, you need to ensure that you are manually inserting all of the pictures that you uploaded. Any that aren't manually inserted will automatically be included at the end of the post with no space between them.

I agree. We didn't used to be like that. Multiple trees, lights everywhere outside, lots of misc. stuff spread around the house. We'd spend a couple of days setting up and breaking down. It was great when the kids were younger. Now that we've moved, we're a little older, and the kids won't be here for Christmas, it just seems like a lot of work to be as over the top as we used to be. We're a little worn out by Christmas in general with crazy crowds while shopping, too much pressure to buy a great gift, etc. The original meaning is somewhat lost these days and it's too commercial. One of the reasons that I'm looking forward to grand kids is to bring back that Christmas joy. Thanks Greg. What's the brand of professional earplugs that you have? The Loop earplugs claim up to 18 dB reduction plus an additional 5 dB with an extra insert. If they don't work as claimed, a professional version may be the next step.

Posting this here rather than cluttering up @h20skibum Mark's Symphony review. Mark was talking about how loud one of the bands was. We've discussed here, more than once, how bad the volume levels can be. Micheline is very sensitive to loud noises. She can't generally stay in any Royal venue with loud music, which is basically everywhere but Central Park. She's tried putting cotton in her ears but the only thing that really works is full blown silicon ear plugs. That blocks most sound though, including conversation. I may have mentioned this before, but she bought a pair of Loop Earplugs, which claim to reduce volume levels while still allowing quality sound (like music) to come through. They are comfortable and seem to work, but she hasn't really tested them in a loud venue. We're hoping that they will work well for our upcoming Billy Joel concert. Has anyone else tried Loop earplugs before?
