Cruise ships I've been on in the last 3-5 years are closing up earlier each cruise I go on. I would stumble home at 3-4 in the morning in the old days after a packed nightclub. These days the ships don't have a dedicated nightclub and it seems the ship closes down about midnight. I blame the Family Cruise initiative. I wish they'd go to Disney World like in the good old days. We don't need Six Flags on the Lido Deck either

My experience after being trapped at sea due to Hurricane Harvey 1. Park somewhere several feet above ground level. Many cars were flooded during Hurricane Harvey if they weren't on a raised parking level 2. Make sure you have a full tank of gas- (the entire Southern half of Texas ran out of gas after Hurricane Harvey) Otherwise, you're probably safe at sea as long as it doesn't hit on embarkation day. If it hits on disembarkation day you might get a few free days at sea like we did.

I never complain when Chicks try to check Stallion out!!! Let 'em look! Yea the Havana Interiors are great-had one 3 years ago but this time just decided to blow some money on a Havana Aft Balcony. I got more views of my Balcony from the Havana pool than I did sitting on my Balcony.

One positive thing they did with Mardi Grau Havana Cabanas is that they raised the outside area a few steps and lowered the glass rail window which should give a better view of the Sea from the Cabanas. I would never get a regular Havana Cabana on the Vista class because the Glass blocked your view.

Yeah and other than the Havana, I'm not a big fan of the Vista otherwise

I'll be interested in your impression of the new concept with one pool to the side. The Vista Havana is perfect with the large aft pool and two large hot tubs. I had a center Aft Balcony on the Vista a few weeks ago. I spent 3-4 hours a day in the pool
