How do you know she is missing 14 days? Did you just counted all days she cruised?

They used formula for all cruises before 2011 12 nights or less = 1 credit (7 nights)

    We had

    7 nights

    9 nights

    10 nights

    10 nights

    prior to 2011

    Our total was 29. 7 x 4 + 1. We lost 7 points.

Of course people who sailed 3-6 night cruises gained in this conversation system.

I know because she is missing 2 cruises she sailed with me. They don’t show on her past cruises. I also know because of all the past cruises she sailed with me, which she got credit for.

What’s funny is my youngest got credit for one cruise (both daughters), but my oldest was only on 2000 cruise.
So my oldest should show all the cruises she sailed with me.

We are taking the whole family on a cruise in July. Our sons who are now in their 40's were on at least

6 RCCL cruises from 1988 to 2002. Where do I go to check their C&A member numbers to see if they if they

    are entitled to any benefits

Good luck. My oldest daughter is missing 14 days from 1998 and 2000 cruises, and we have both tried numerous times to get her credit, both onboard with LA and calling. I even have boarding pics. It just happens in their records, the booking number is missing on both hers and my C&A number. They couldn’t even find by her birthday. I think our next step is writing admin offices. If it was a couple days, probably wouldn’t care, but 14 is a good chunk. She did retain the correct status a/o 2000 when she last cruised with me, and was 18.

I hope you have better luck.

Actually as I posted I just looked up anthem and said I see one april 2025. Is there another or this is the one in limbo? I'm asking. Still not sure which date is being talked about.

The 2 Anthem sailings for April 2025 just came up for booking last week. They are unique itineraries, so many on here started talking about them. Cruiseboy veered a bit off track on what some of us cruisers were talking about, and started talking about the Anthem moving to Singapore next Fall (2024). I can see how it got confusing. Since this thread is about 2025-2026 deployment, the Anthem 2025 itineraries are what we were originally discussing.

The TA may 2025 is about half this, though only 13 days. Total. None of this per person nonsense. You know prices are too high when people dont post the total cruisefare price.  .... using my thumbnail $100 per day, total all in. For a balcony. Must be a bigger bargain than I thought.

For the B2B Anthem 2025 cruise, I calculated $185 per night for a Virtual Balcony for 27 nights (about $5k total). I don’t do balconies for personal reasons. I haven’t been able to plug in the DP340 code yet for the TP, but will have my TA try on the 27th. I have done numerous TA’s and numerous TP’s on the usual Sydney-Hawaii, so this for me is unique, since it’s all new ports, except Singapore and Vietnam. An extra bonus is it gets me home to Seattle, so it saves me money on airfare one way. So for me , it’s a good deal.

Just noticed something with the 12 night Singapore to Tokyo.

It was only asking for a $250 deposit for a solo so I am assuming $500 for a double occupancy.  That is the incorrect amount for a 12 day cruise.  it should be $900 or $450 for a solo.

If any of you find this I would strongly suggest that you pay the full deposit for this length of sailing.  When they catch it then you run the risk of your booking being cancelled for not having enough deposit on the booking.

I noticed that also…$500 for TP and $250 for 12 night. I will bring that up to TA when I pay deposit on the 27th.

Thank you again for posting this.  We went ahead and booked the B2B, it is too amazing to pass up.

I started the Roll Call already. Super excited it ends in Seattle, and at least it’s close for you. I have only been to a couple of the ports,  and this has really nice port stops. I’m doing another cruise line TP in Oct/2024, Singapore- Long Beach. Good thing I love Singapore. 😉

    Hi Deb!

    So what's your solo discount?

Pam and I are thinking of booking our own separate cabins rather than sharing a suite.  It's less expensive to do it that way.

Firefly is correct. It’s the DP340 code. The Anthem Apr/2025 sailings are on the website now, and the DP340 still not valid. I think the prices are still great.

The flyer said the TP was 15 nights, website 14. I don’t know if they added the day we repeat, crossing the International Dateline. I just know there are a lot of sea days ( I love) from last stop in Japan to Seattle on TP.

Hello there I'm looking for people I met on a past cruise from years ago.And am trying to look them up to find them.

Years ago? If you didn’t exchange information when you met, you won’t find them. It’s a privacy matter.

You could try and google their name and see if anything looks familiar, or try putting their names in other social media sites.

There are really good group rates for the TP but nothing released for the 12 night before that.

As far as the solo rate goes.  The rate codes are just not loaded as is typical with a lot of new releases.  I would have your TA call C&A directly as opposed to the reservation line.

Thanks Ken. She said she called the Loyalty desk. I have a 7 day courtesy hold on both legs. I will have her check back in a couple days.

But, as you know, call 5 people, get 5 different answers. 😉

I sail out of Baltimore and favor Royal Caribbean. I'm looking for a group that discusses finding a another cruiser to share the cabin so as to avoid the single supplement penalty.

    Thank you.

I sail solo and I don’t look at it as a penalty. Rather than seeing it as a negative, look at a daily cost. What would you spend per night on a land vaca? Including hotel, food and entertainment? I set a rate per night I’m willing to pay, and stick to it.

  11. I started cruising in 1980, so I’ve definitely been through the eras…LOL

For me as a solo cruiser, I set what my price per day is, and pretty much stick with that. I have reached the solo discount point on Royal now, so that helps, but still haven’t booked anything since I reached it.
I’m on the Panorama TP in Oct. and my price per day is $132. I can’t even book a decent hotel for that price anymore.

There are those that will spend the money on brand new cruise ships, at a premium price, but many won’t.  Lots of good deals still out there if you look.
I think vacation travel is up for everything. As mentioned, airfare is crazy to even get anywhere, and look at theme parks. I don’t do All Inclusive resorts, but I’m sure they’re up also, and then you still have to fly there.

I looked at my paperwork but I couldn't find an answer.  Can you bring a clothes steamer on board?  I'm sure my clothes will be wrinkled after unpacking.  Thank you!

It’s on the website for prohibited items.
Everybody will be in the same situation. Many bring Downy Wrinkle Release, spray, and then hang in bathroom and run hot shower. The steam will take out a lot of wrinkles.

  13. As a solo traveler, I never eat in the MDR for my own personal reasons. So I always eat in the MDR, or other free areas. Although I eat at WJ on all ships I sail, I do think Quantum class is the best. I thought Wonder was also good.

I like being able to control my portions, and always find something I like. I am not a foodie, so I am perfectly happy with the simple things. Love that there is always Indian food.

  14. Just be aware that Starlink isn’t the do all, be all on some ships. On the Jewel to Greenland, the internet was horrible.  Rarely worked in the cabin. In Two70 on Ovation, no internet.  In Alaska, it can still be patchy with mountain ranges and cloud cover. So it can be great on some ships and areas, other’s not so much.

I never had any luck streaming YoutubeTv before I got rid of it, even with a VPN. They wised up and started blocking VPN’s. I have had luck with other streaming services.
